That video is embarrassing. Just yuck. He seems like a nice lad though to be fair. Wish he would hurry up and leave though lol

I didn't think lack of effort was an issue from him in the final, I felt others weren't moving in the way for him to take advantage of.

He's clearly trying to build the brand of Said, that video is just indulgent either way. But he's welcome to and if he gets a big move then he wants to be one of the icons back in Algeria. Fair enough if he wants to go that route, even if I am a bit cynical about it all and I certainly wouldn't do it in that position.

Spent ages on Google Earth and can't find that villa anywhere* near Cannes. I reckon he's actually in Bridlington

Embracing video. I know that’s the age we live in but it’s self-indulgent, tone-deaf b***ock*s. Unbelievably crass.

Young man (from different culture) films video to build his ‘brand’. Non target market of older men shake fist at him... yes it’s cringe and I’m sure he’d feel the same in 20years. But it’s harmless and I don’t think it’s worth more than an eye roll and move on with your day lol

Thanks Ollie. You're not going to Villa then? Fancy a season at the new stadium?

Spot on and refreshing take on something quite insignificant and harmless!

Perhaps he should have worn those specs, sported in the video, when taking all those free kicks this season.

Might have got one on bloody target.

BTW - Terrible video.

I’m not the target market but it looked fun and like he was enjoying himself. Not really sure what everyone seems to be getting in a lather over.

I'm feeling quite jealous! He clearly loves indulgence.

But may put a few suitors off
No it wouldn't lol I don't think many clubs would drop pursuing someone for making a self promotion brand video, even if most of us wouldn't go there personally.

And no for those suggesting that Said would fail the 'no dickheads test', according to Frank and others he's very hard working and demanding in training to everyone in terms of standards. Work ethic and professionalism is really what that 'test' is looking at. He wants to be a winner.

There are definitely some cultural gaps between us and him but that doesn't mean he isn't hard working. Cringe video, yes, do I care...not overly. He's not going to be our player for long anyway.

Couldn't be less concerned about this. His agency clearly have a brand they're trying to promote and they do it well. He's certainly not a dickhead; the way he applied himself this season demonstrates that. Good luck to him.

Some of the comments posted on here make me think this site could do with a no dickheads policy. I appreciate different points of view and really enjoy humour/ banter however some post and neither informative or funny.

...I guess if you have a few quid in your pocket aged 25....and you're about to have considerably more....you have choices to make....cocaine,ace of spades, fast cars, and faster women....or relaxing holidays minus the drink n drugs.....guess said chooses the latter category....good luck to him.

The video is a harmless bit of fun, I don't have any problem with it, it's what most youngish people do nowadays, he's just enjoying himself as he is entitled to, my 5 grandchildren all do the same sort of thing, it's what they do, I struggle to understand why, but hey ho I'm not of their generation, they also might struggle to understand what my generation got up to 50 odd years ago, Lets just remember the shear enjoyment he has given us on the pitch, he has been a joy to watch, and wish him all the very best wherever he goes.

I cringed a bit but this guy gets it. It’s not as though Said hasn’t been building his social media brand for a while. This is his most ambitious video so far.

It ain’t for me, but a heck of a lot of people are enjoying the video.

The video kind of sums up what weve seen from him on the pitch(bar the play off final) , extravagant, fun and confident bordering on egotistical. Its all abit reality tv show like and not my cup of tea but he clearly has a penchant for the finer things in life and its part of the benrahma brand. Im sure he is inspiring his many algerian fans

I don’t get what’s so wrong with his vid. He’s a young lad who’s come a very long way from humble beginnings. He’ll be inspiring another generation of Algerian Messis. He’s just enjoying himself. *♂

If he's in Cannes, doesn't that mean he'll need to quarantine for two weeks when he's back? I thought players were due back this week but I'm guessing a few of our players will be caught out by that.

Might make it easier for the club to explain why he's not in our squad for the early games though...

As an old bugger, this sort of video does cause me to roll my eyes. But then I remember I'm an old bugger, Said isn't and it's the way of the world these days.

In any case, far better a video like this, than one of him staggering along the street at 3 am, pissed out of his head, like er, "Ross Grealish" or "Jack Barkley" (if you see who I mean).

He worked his ass off for us. Despite knowing he was likely to be leaving. If he goes he goes with my best wishes and thanks. Some of the comments on here are a disgrace.

Beats going to Boots to get your photos developed and then boring everyone with them down the pub.

Not many of whom will ever aspire to remotely live that lifestyle. I know I've lived in Algeria and with a family in the higher echelons of power at the time.

Not alot of people from any country will get the chance to live that lifestyle, maybe moreso in algeria but perhaps thats what gives him even more power of inspiration

Not present in any of the training photos so far. Is he on an extended break, or not with the squad as its a matter of time before he leaves?
