They could be waiting to bring him out to sign the contract as the warm up is going on tomorrow

Even if he signs today the fact he has been in a nightclub in Paris suggests he would have to do the 2 week quarantine before going to training

He was doing some location shots for Benrahma's next gangster/celeb drone video.

Wonder what it is about him as he's older than our usual signing and doesn't seem score many goals for an attack minded player

I’ve spent all day trying to pull an Ayotallah based pun out of my magic hat but I’ve admitted defeat.

Bring him out in front of who? An empty stadium or the other players?

I think those days are long gone aren’t they.

Sorry to say this he could be brought out in front of Gillham who the press like to call Mr Brentford, there are a lot of both Mr and Mrs Brentford

Cant believe this has dragged out for so long. Still no real rumour for anymore incomings. Ill be glad when the window shuts.

Signing foreign players in this window is especially difficult I imagine.

We want to have Middle east interest in the club. There is only so many shirts you can sell in Denmark
My Iranian mate (who had been to a few games to GP in the past ) - has been asking me about getting a Season ticket and buying a shirt already.

I guess we’ll probably be replacing Algerians with Iranians - not sure if the club will see a difference in merchandise revenue?

If that’s true, perhaps we have a get out clause in the event that our no doubt stringent due diligence still fails to pick up any buried skeletons in his cupboard!
I am sure that you are quite right. As far as I can see his discipline problems with FIFA in connection with his signing for two clubs is still not concluded. He currently is obliged to pay an enormous amount of Euros to the aggrieved club. It looks as if he has or will appeal but currently says he cannot pay. It looks as if the loan is as you say a get out clause for us if it turns bad.

I just hope that Ghoddos and/or his agents aren’t trying to play the same game as last season

Same happened with Bale 😎

It's obviously someone f***ing around as the data has just been typed in but not yet with the "x" at the end of the row to undo.

But got to love sky who then report it lol

Hi everyone, First post here. Great to see you lads are excited about Saman Ghoddos. As a Persian I am thrilled for Saman and Brentford, It's gonna be a great season, and ill be following it, can't wait! As to what I think about Saman, I think he's a very clever fast-acting player with great decision-making ability at a high pace with great ball control. As most of you've already seen, he's the guy who catches the eyes on the field and can trouble any goalkeeper with his crazy shooting ability.

Things haven't gone his way in the last couple of months but I can assure you Iranians are people who like a challenge and can bring something special to the field if given the chance ( pointing at Graham Potter who barely gave Alireza Jahanbakhsh minutes on the field ). Anyway, I'm glad for this to happen and can't wait to see Brentford play. anyone can update me on when the next matches are and if there are live streams ? Thank you!

Not saying that at all there are a hell of a lot of us who support, follow Brentford he’s not the only one. So your not worth a shout? as a big Brentford fan

Very true as over the years there have been many of us who have spilled blood for our beloved Bees - I know I have pulled a few sickies to get to away games when I was younger and bunked off school as well. All the money I earned in my after school grocery round went on BFC and I would not have had it any other way - I gave up a lot to watch Brentford, as did others, especially on the dark days of the lower divisions and if you have never spent a cold winter's evening in Workington or Barrow you have not lived !! 😊 (y)
