I know it won’t happen, but the Premier League should just stop parachute payments for Norwich and just end the scam they’re operating: get promoted to Premier League (pocket the cash), don’t compete and get relegated (pocket the cash), win the Championship with a Premier League squad funded by parachute payments, get promoted to Premier League (pocket the cash) - and repeat.

It‘s really unhealthy for football to see Norwich pulling their stunt season after season.
I suspect they won’t be doing that next season.

9 games into the premier league

3 clubs still to register their first win. Have we ever see this before.

only 10 points between the 3 of them

seems very strange to me.

I was looking at the Norwich team from last season. What he does for Villa is irrelevant.
He’s not doing much in the PL now, nothing to suggest he’d be doing better in a substantially worse Norwich team now. So had they kept him it’d have made little difference.

Except to their bank balance.

I'm not sure if we should be flattered or disappointed that it's taken these other clubs 50 years to copy us.

Bunch of ewankers, bet other clubs will be at it as well. Never be as good as us, and that goes for the singing as well

There was another club at it a couple of weeks back but I forget who now. Might have been Burnley?

Brighton goal difference taking a bit of a hiding. We could by tomorrow night be as high as 5th.

I’m glad we’re not playing City until quite far into the season. I wonder how our defence will cope. Brighton have been good until this game.

To think that Foden probably won't reach his peak for a few more years still. The England team should be built around him. World class player and a joy to watch.

It's going to be great when we visit these clubs and sing it louder than the home fans.

Yes that’s what I mean . A while back their ambition was to be one of the top 26 clubs in England . Most premier league clubs would want to establish themselves as top ten or top six - not these bozos !
Well that's just in the top six of the Championship then. Real ambition scraping in to the playoffs

It’s a plan for failure.

Liverpool 4-0 up at HT

Nailed on Ole to be sacked in the next 48 hours.

5-0 and Pogba sees red.

Lump on Ole getting sacked. Easiest money this season.

Can anyone explain why Ronaldo didn't get a red card for kicking out at T A-A ? They said it was because he kicked the ball and not the man but if T A-A had been a metre or so away and he kicked the ball at him it would have been a red. It was a deliberate, petulant, aggressive and quite violent act. Where's VAR when you need it ?

Might be something to do with the fact he was kicking at Curtis Jones? 🤔

In all seriousness though, I suspect if he had gone for a second boot when he was down, then we'd have seen red. I think a yellow was correct for how the incident played out.

The problem with what happened to Man U is that they’ve got the chance to fix it before we play them. Otherwise even before Liverpool dismantled them I was thinking they were set up for us to exploit!
