Teccy error.Why are Sky showing an effin’ advert for wimmin’s football whilst the game is still on?
I thought Emma Buendia might have taken a turn for the worse so they switched to an advert.
Obviously no screens at Villa Park like they have at Aintree so producer cuts the game.
I got worried over nothing. Emmy was fine.
A smack in the chops and he was OK.

Watching a game on the hesgoal feed of South African coverage earlier in the week there were in game ads where the match went into a smaller window and static ads went in the frame.

Possibly but he’s done it once, seven years ago at a small club he’d been at as player and manager for most of his career, managing a squad and playing style he’d built up over several years from L2. It was a great achievement but one almost entirely unlike the task which would face him in the summer. If they wanted someone who knows how to get out of the Championship they could appoint Warnock who’s done it several times and more recently. Or they could have hung on to Bruce who’s also got more experience of doing so.
Howe on the other hand didn’t fancy trying to take Bournemouth back up, despite having all that history and the club set up just how he wanted. His current assistant got the gig instead and was so bad they sacked him for Woodgate.
If they go down and Howe’s still their manager this time next year I’ll be amazed.

AFL (Australian Football) shown on free to air telly has an advert break after every goal. There's usually quite a few of them. The umpires are given the signal to restart after time for an advert and a short replay of the goal. Useful time to go to the fridge or the bathroom. However in Aussie Rules the timekeepers stop the clock whenever the ball is out of play. Don't want to give the TV companies any ideas but they could try the same for football for corners.

Would have preferred a WH win but in all honesty, Leeds aren’t going to go down.
As long as we keep picking up points and Norwich, Watford, Newcastle or Burnley don’t pick up too much momentum, we’ll be fine.

Just looking up some EFL records.
Most goals scored in a season - 134 (Peterborough in 1960/61). (they are currently on 70, with 20 games to go)
Biggest goal difference + 69 (Liverpool 1978/79) (they are currently +47)
The 2nd one is certainly achievable if they can keep this up - 18 goals in the past 3 games.
No idea what the records for division 2/championship are.
It would be even better having set this pace if they blow up now!
