but at this stage of the season it's not about the performance.
Yep. I don’t care how we get points on the board. A lucky deflection via Jensen’s backside for a 1-0 win tomorrow will suit me just fine.

Norwich are still the worst side in the division, them getting points here may not be a bad thing! They should still go down regardless.

That was my take. Watford improving would be very bad news, Norwich improving to me seems temporary.

They might have won their last two games, but they were against a poor Everton and a very poor Watford.

Better a Norwich win than a Watford win. I only watched the first half and after a frenetic opening 15 minutes, Watford were getting well on top and looked highly likely winners. I don't think Norwich had a shot in the first half, and I was amazed when I saw the final score. Goals change games, as they say, and their opening goal must have given Norwich a big boost. I don't think it will last long.

Great header by Buendia, and then another player hit by a bottle. When will action be taken to stop this?
The lack of action when it manifested itself up at Elland Rd against us, then Arsenal (+ coins) and finally culminating in a full plastic bottle of Coke landing on Matt Lowton's head against Burnley was spineless by the FA/PL.

Not acceptable but probably not in the Birmingham LDV coins raining down on Marcus Gayle league.

Only way they can stop bottles is to remove them entirely.
Sell drinks in mcdonalds style cup, no lids. Bags searched properly. Not just glanced. This could also stop flares, or reduce the amount of them.

People take lids with them for when stadiums remove them. They don't get taken off them.

Good to see Everton losing. Every chance that they'll end up in the bottom three..

Martinez cautioned after 70 minutes for time wasting....
Never happens in our games.
Aston Villa win free kick in 91st minute, ball put where free kick should be and player on floor boots it out of play to waste more time. Nothing done.

Newcastle win, need to keep Leeds in their place.
Nah, don't want them getting a head of steam. Few more defeats and the locals will turn again.. Particularly if their big transfer targets don't materialise..

So, Leeds-Newcastle, draw or Leeds win??
I’d rather Leeds or draw. Newcastle‘s transfer targets will be harder to attract if they look doomed. Plus if they stay up the investment will mean they‘ll be a lot harder to finish above next season than someone like Norwich or Watford.

Itching to see the Saudi Arabia Murderous Regime XI have to play the likes of Wycombe next year……..it sticks in the throat to even think it, but it’s a dirty Leeds win for me!!!

In our last 4 games and just caught some of the Southampton City game, one could argue that Southampton has been the best team we played. Although we did play piss poor against them. They are a good established side in the league with a good manager.

They have done brilliantly and who we should look to emulate.

Look at the £££££m of talent they have sold in recent years. Yes, they've taken some pastings (v. Leicester), but they regroup, recruit, still play good football and are mostly competitive. And today beat one of the best teams in Europe, which wasn't a fluke.

edit** sorry - meant to day deserved to beat. Forgot Citeh equalised later on!!

Yes agree with all that except they drew. Their recruitment is as good as ours but at a higher level. Every time I have watched them play they have impressed me this season. Good for them and they have proper singers by the away fans.

well apart from they drew…..but I agree with the rest, and no doubt it’s exactly what we are looking at doing, but you have to stay up to keep building
