Pleased to see Sky seemed to have abandoned the stupid canned crowd noise for the last couple of games. Hope it's the same tomorrow. :sorted:

Good job I checked. If anybody else like me has never heard of 'Sky Sports Mix', just to let you know that's where you'll find the game tonight. Just had 20 minutes of panic as I had no idea what it was and I couldn't find it on my mate's Sky Go that I, ahem, borrow. That's because it's not in sports section. It's in the pleb programme section, channel 145. I know I'm probably a bit dense on such matters but I may not be the only one and don't want anyone missing the match. :sorted:

Am I right in thinking that play off games won't be available on iFollow?? Or are they available to ST holders??

Shocking really given how the fans took to him while he was here, and the fact that he was kicking swollen bladders round a ploughed field before we discovered him. Ungrateful knobhead.

I assume a NowTV pass is the way to go for those not subscribed to Sky? Or are there any other options?

Cheers. Thought that was the case, but then started questioning myself as ST holders had access to Sky games through iFollow, but I guess that was part of the agreement, and, of course, play-off games wouldn't have been covered by STs.

Makes no difference to me. Play off watching is a young man's game. Far too many battle scars and a couple of swift reminders over the past week that I should keep my promise to the cat last time. No more play offs. Not going through it again. Hearing the results will do me and my ticker just fine and if all does turn out well, I can always watch it later. ;)

Now TV for me. Also understand VCMazz’s reservations but just couldn’t not watch games.
Also going bold and paying £25 for a months pass, 3x£10 for day passes will cost me £5 more!

To be perfectly honest, the above post is what I'm really hoping I'll do for my own health and sanity. Whether or not I have the self discipline when the time comes remains to be seen. But I really don't want to put myself through it again.

I will definitely watch the playoffs but completely understand those who just can’t face it . I’ve got every scar from over the years that all began on a very long coach trip to Tranmere on a Friday night right up to a nice big new scar from last night , and that’s not even including Leyland Daf /Jpt failures.
As ever I’ll allow myself to believe this time we can do it , doubtless there will be more drama and maybe this could be finally the year we do it , but I’ve said that every time , but surely that’s what football is all about , hope and expectation.

Another question on this.
Will iFollow audio option be available through the ST "pass code"?
I watched last night's pre-match on iFollow to hear "Hey Jude" pre-match one last time (Ha! Ha!). As I knew Sky coverage wouldn't do it justice. Unfortunately Mark and Mick talked over it, so I was hoping for another chance in the play off game, even it it's only listening to it......

Good question, I don't think so but will check.

 Thank you.
When you ask, and if they say yes, can you get a message to Mark and Mick to stfu during it next time?

Er...they did.
For the play offs......as no-one can be there.....
Just wasn't sure whether iFolow audio coverage of play offs was also part of the ST "compensation package"......

Sky forgoed their exclusivity rights in the UK for the league matches.

The championship playoffs are one of their largest audience and along with the League Cup final and what makes the EFL contract so valuable.

I have a Subbuteo set and I find if I move the ball and players around according to the commentary, it's very similar to watching the match.

Mrs J has banned me from the Pub ( made the mistake of running it past her!) - health concerns...
I’m going to stick to the tried and trusted live commentary on R.London, presumably with Phil and Billy.
- Interspersed with refreshes of Bet365 and you lot on here!

We could never afford Subbuteo in my house so I have to make do with my League Ladders from Shoot!

It was really exciting after the restart, fingers poised to move Bees up and down as the goals went in up and down the country..

And if Bees win tomorrow, I may not be able to contain myself when I move them onto a new ladder completely - the 1st Division!

If you want to know without reading then I wouldn't recommend the WWW to be honest
