I'm being really stupid, as I feel sure this must have been discussed at some point... I thought the "give up your ST refund/take up ifollow offer" option gave you video coverage of all remaining fixtures. Reading the email from BFC, it looks like we only get home fixtures + 1 away (Fulham). Am I being stupid? Apologies for being too lazy to browse entire thread.
My email contained “We would like to offer adults the chance to watch our remaining nine games on iFollow, the EFL’s online streaming platform.”

This referred to adult season ticket holders for “free access codes” otherwise £10 per match

You get all matches, home and away, on iFollow. And you only need to read the FIRST post on this thread!

OK so I've opted for ifollow rather than a refund. Can anyone tell me how I actually get it. Do I need to download it or get an apt or something? I see BFC will send me a code but I have no idea how to use it. Help!

I'm sure there will be accompanying instructions. IKEA don't just give you pieces of wood and expect you to sort it out yourself. ;)

Go to the official BFC site and look under the 'More' menu, click on the iFollow button (twice) and you can watch an introductory video illustrating the delights of iFollow. You just click to subscribe, like any other streaming service; we've been rewatching all the games this season during lockdown, as they're archived on there. Totally worth a fiver a month.

I have to say it's a better service than it was when they started, and more reliable these days (touch wood), but I'm still a bit concerned about the whole voucher thing working for so many people.

Thanks a lot. I'll give it a go when my code comes in.

I can confirm that all Junior Season tickets are not eligible for the ifollow offer, so it would be NowTV for the Live Matches (£9.99 day pass or £30 ppm - although there are some offers around) and individual ifollow purchases for the rest of the season.

I would suggest that if people wish to donate ifollow codes then I'm sure there would be many grateful people
Regarding Junior Season tickets do you know what we are supposed to be doing, not interested in a refund but would like the voucher as my daughter wants a new Bees football...

I haven't watched any of the budesliga or read anything yet, but I was thinking about time wasting and extra time. Something many opponents do to us. With no crowd to throw balls back. Wouldn't it be a good time for refs to stop the clock when ball is out of play and restart when it begins again with no extra time? Preventing teams from slowly the game down.

There's your clue.

Ball has been in play more, and there are balls to use around the touchline. As once someone touches the ball in the stands it can't be handed back to a player. It needs to be disinfected and then returned to the side of the pitch.

Should suit us.

They get an email too, I received my kids email. You click on voucher claim and it will then get sent from w/c 22nd along with a free face mask!!

I have told him that it’s never too late got my dad an iPad at the age of 80 transformed his life.
Same with my 92 year old Great Aunt, she's on her ipad all the time. Can do iPlayer, FaceTime and even does her Sainsbury shopping.

Jesus I really need someone to explain to me how to use these things. It's the problem of never having had kids or grandkids and being retired 10 years. No exposure to technology.

EFL sent me another e-mail:

EFL said:
In answer to your question, outside of the UK, holders of annual subscriptions will still be able to login to their existing account and view all their Club’s matches live.

Do you have to sign up for ifollow or does the code just let you use it?

I see that too. I can only guess for Fulham it's cos Sky have it, so I'm going for a NowTV day pass tomorrow for a tenner.

All games (home and away), including those on Sky during the regular season (I.e. NOT play off games) should be available to ST holders via iFollow using the code provided by the club.

I will have 3 matches on ifollow as I donated my £38 match ticket money to the club. I assume that I'll get a code sometime next week. Will I get three different codes? If not will I be able to watch on different devices? I'll be away for 2 matches so will need to use laptop or phone but when at home I'd rather use the PC.

As far as I can see, you’ll get individual codes.

You will get individual codes, probably after the WBA game.

Please inform EFL that although I'm an annual subscription holder living in France I was unable to get video, only audio. I followed usual procedures, with VPN off and Adblock deactivated.

Well... Sky Sport matches are not available by IFollow for subscribers like me and you, of course.

Not sure if this has been previously covered, but presumably the clubs are giving iFollow payment (out of monies not refunded to ST holders) for game coverage?
Any idea of the amounts involved?
If not, how are iFollow getting their cut?

Been trying to get I follow to work on an iPad since Saturday morning ,luckily I have Sky so won’t actually need it till the Reading game . I’ve overcome a couple of hurdles but just can’t get it to log in. After loads of attempts at changing my password ( I had a very old beesplayer acc set up so it wouldn’t let me register a new one ) I finally managed that yesterday.
I kept getting password reset emails keyed all my details in and it just cleared the screen, no error messages , nothing until it finally worked , but it now does the same when I try and log in, just waits a few seconds , screen refreshes and it’s blank.
My cross site tracking is not checked, ive also tried it in google chrome same result.
Any clever techie people out there in Beesland ! Thanks

I just looked at the iPad, I wouldn't use the apo. It doesn't appear to be designed for it.

Instead just use Chrome.

Make sure it's downloaded and you have the Season Ticket Package installed.

If I buy a Now TV pass today can I watch tonight's match or will I need to wait for some kind of set top box or any other equipment?

You can view it on most devices, such as Ipad, tablets, and laptops.
With the first examples just goto the google store/Apple store to download the app.
If you,re watching it on a laptop you will be prompted to download some files to run the app on your laptop.

Hope that helps

Is there an agony aunt on here that can help me out? This thread has literally fried my brain. Here is my situation.

I an currently subscribing to Sky Sports via a friend's Sky Go at a cost of 10 cans of Strongbow Dark Fruits per month (minimum 18 month contract). He doesn't have BT Sports on there. I don't hold a season ticket and I've no idea what iPlayer is (I'm guessing it's a sort of Mk2 version of Beesplayer as I can't find that anywhere?).

So. I was able to enjoy the routine 3 points at Fulham and I'm good to go against the Boing Boings tonight. My first question is, how do I watch Reading on Tuesday? Or can't I?

Much love,

Mazz x
