My account is not showing any current subscription as per the Banana YouTube video. How do I rectify that please? I do have an account as I can see my account and can access archived videos
Have you redeemed the promo code yet?

Banana/Gazza Bee thanks. Yes I watched the You Tube video and did redeem the Promo Code. The subscription is now showing in my packages. Am I set up for the game as it only shows Live Text option. It used to also have a option to buy the video of the game but this has now disappeared. Is that because the live video game option only appears an hour prior to kick off?

Yep so if you have the video pass in your subscriptions you should see the live video option in the Match Centre around an hour before the game starts - just make sure you are logged in properly to begin with

Apologies if this has been answered and there must be a logical reason, but just why are these evening games staggered across three different kick off times? I thought it might be for TV, but this still doesn't explain 3 games at 6pm.

Could be iFollow capacity. Could be to avoid traffic as teams won't be staying at hotels. (e.g. Millwall v Swansea)

but no reasons provided.

4 different kick off times! Some might be to do with the distance the away team has to travel, others, who knows?

This really doesn't help us help you. What did you logon too. What page? What is black? What device are you on? What are you using to watch?

Whatever. I would restart the browser. And try again.

I am an STH and I've set up for ifollow on my PC using the promo code that I was sent, but for this game ideally I want to watch it on my laptop, but it doesn't seem to want to allow me to do that for some reason. I've copy and pasted the promo code into my laptop, but it just keeps taking me to the sign in/register screen. Any thoughts? Can you only use it on the PC/laptop on which you first used the code?

I've clicked a few things and THINK I'm in the right place. A re-run of the home game against Reading has just finished. Does that sound like I'm winning?

You should be able to login to the laptop using the same email address and password you used for your PC. The STHer package will be there.

Think that I saw options to pay on the i-follow website when I was just setting up my ST account.

Anyone can pay a £10
Match ticket holders would have been emailed a code to use.

Yeehaa! What until a few days ago was looking like a £40 iFollow bill is now a £10 iFollow bill. :bound::bound::bound::ball:

Log out and login again. It often looks like you’re logged in but you’re not

As I posted in the match updates thread today, I had problems watching the game today because the game was broadcast on TV and I am currently in Spain, despite the fact that I am a season ticket holder. So any ST holders planning to go abroad during the Stoke and Barnsley matches (which I assume will also be on TV) might face similar problems.

Having checked through the emails that we received from the club, these problems seemed particularly surprising. It wasn't mentioned anywhere that the location of a season ticket holder would affect the ability to watch matches, regardless of whether they are selected for international broadcast. I understand that the watch option blackout for international iFollow viewers is normal, but had not considered that this would also be the case for season ticket holders receiving a replacement watch pass in lieu of the ability to attend a match in person.

I would lodge a complaint. But did you check that the Watch facility wasn’t available after clicking on the Listen option and re-logging in? I’ve found this often - thinking I won’t get the video, only to find it appears once I’ve properly logged in.

Yes I tried that a few times, as well as different browsers and devices

I don’t think it is unreasonable of iFollow to think that in lockdown, ST holders would be resident in the UK.

I've just confirmed with the club (who have confirmation from iFollow) that the STHer package is NOT available if you are outside the UK.

Not surprised as they are not Sky's rights to give away....

We don't have unrestricted freedom of movement which is still lockdown to me. But my point still stands, it's not unreasonable to think ST holders are resident in the UK.
Whilst it’s not unreasonable to assume that season ticket holders are resident in the UK, it would have been prudent for the club to have made this issue clear when it was asking people to choose between iFollow and refunds.

I don't believe that the club were aware. This was an issue the club escalated to iFollow.

To add to Alex Cavell's frustration, the game wasn't even broadcast in Spain. I'm paying 2 subscriptions (iFollow and DAZN) and still had to find a dodgy stream. And it'll be the same for Stoke.

Yes, BIAS have made that point to the club that I'd expect to be passed on to the EFL i.e. if you buy the rights, then show the show!

Would highly recommend dubzstream website. I had it on for the PNE and it was seamless...not bad considering we are on satellite internet out in the sand!

In the same boat, found you can buy a nowtv pass for use on a spanish ip, so long as you can give em uk card details and address

BFC and the EFL probably have little interest in what the local broadcaster shows as long as they pay up. But it would be great if iFollow didn't black out games in regions where they're not otherwise available.

Probably impossible though, as DAZN can change their schedule at any moment.

Exactly.

But they can say, if you don't confirm you are showing it then....

Great, thanks for following up. Yes as far as I can tell, ST holder location was never advertised as a condition for viewing! Fortunately I'm back in the UK for the last 2 games.

I’m not getting into it on this thread but not being able to do those things does not constitute being “locked down”.

I was in a sports pub in Chiswick watching the Preston game. There were groups of 5 or 6 outside in the beer garden (fair enough), but when I later went inside, there weren't really any restrictions. The pub was quiet, tbf.

Anyhow, having had my first (pub) beers since March, I was happy to chat to a couple of mates - each a yard away round a table - but looking back, I don't think I'll bother again unless/until something changes.

Fortunately I stopped at 4 pints - much more and I guess my "defences" would have lowered.
