My first post! 4 points:
1. I thought Ghoddos was a replacement for Said. Today he again showed how sharp he can be. In past few games his shooting has been excellent, quickly taken but unluckily. He seems to have a better footballing brain than Sergi, and is less selfish.
2.As others have said above, the key issue is that we are not being careful enough with the ball. But today that was because we moved the ball really quickly in transition, which is clearly more risky.
3. Pinnock, Dalsgaard and MBS know how to advance into space. Am not sure I see that enough from Jansson or Reid. It makes us so static.
4. Bryan‘s problems this year seem to stem from when he dwells on the ball. Don’t remember him ever doing this last year. His first touch seemed to explode him into space. But he seems to be improving each game.
(Final thought, has Thomas given the team the video of 1sthalf-Watford to put under their pillows each night? The probing and thrusting they did that day was perfect, but we don’t seem to have scaled those heights since.)
