Not that long. Look, Shannon is quality, undisputed and as this is his thread I’ll stick to the fact that I’d be happy for him to start each game from now onwards without referring to/defending any other squad member
Agree, I like EM his 20 minutes against Boro was wonderful. We are lucky to have this many quality players..

EM did not have a great game against Birmingham, even if he did he was playing in the front 3. He was good nothing more, Baptiste was part of a midfield 3 that dominated Birmingham in that 2nd half, he should have started today. If he had we would have won..
EM moved inside when Fosu came on and we were at our most threatening. Agree Baptiste looks quality though and would start him on Tuesday for definite

So where are the experts now? He started last night and was subbed. (I won't mention the og in between.)

er...?

too timid in the first half - we didn't buy him to play pat-a-cake

drove forward a couple of times in the second half and looked better for it

him and JDS as a midfield two was madness from TF. i'd definitely start him at Cardiff though.

What does "where are the experts now" mean? Are you digging out other supporters, the player or both? Oh - followed up with "Why"?

Just curious that several people wanted him to start, but there were no comments on his performance, despite there being lots of comments on others'.

Don't you think the "experts" bit was a little bit sneering? Seemed unnecessary.

I thought he played it too safe in the first half but began to look more positive before he was subbed. Just needs to be a bit more assertive, and I expect that to come, hopefully soon.

Wasn't meant to be. I don't claim to be a tactical genius, unlike some who seem to.
again, a rather odd way of making a point

Well, that’s an arsey way of asking a question and not particularly humble, but what’s in a name.

Clearly don’t need to respond as you’ve highlighted he scored an og and was subbed. The tone suggests you're probably one of those who were angry and having a dig on Tuesday, if you went to the game, which really helped the team.

Glad for you that you got the chance to make this point

Unpleasant.

So who exactly are these experts you talk of?

The boy is quality, the own goal was not his fault, the whole team were sh*t.

What exactly are you trying to say?

Think he went into his shell a little bit after the OG and seemed like he didn’t want to make another mistake so kept it very simple, which I suppose is understandable on your full debut.

Give the lad time.

It wasn’t his full debut. He started at Birmingham.

He OG'ed I think because he was stunned by Rico's panic and total air kick as the free kick came in.

He should have done better, but then again so should Rico who was probably more at fault. OG's are often avoidable in hindsight. I don't think anyone's holding anything against hm though but it probably didn't feel that way for him...

It was a 50/50 but it would be interesting to see whether their guy actually went for the ball. At the very least he left his foot in afterwards in a fairly major way.

It was a poor tackle, he went in with his studs with both feet, reckless and dangerous but like the knee to CN head all acceptable and fair according to the half wit in the middle.

Yep, it was the worst refereeing performance I have since in a long time, and that is saying something. I think we suffered most but they were not happy either, though that might just have been whinging!

It was a 50/50 with a bit left on it by Sanderson. Baptiste was in an a lot of pain holding his shin and couldn’t continue.

Shin pads saved him from something very serious.

Summed up when the home fans started singing 'You're not fit to referee' after a few dubious decisions only for our lot to use the same chant a minute later for a further inept non decision. He did let a lot go like the clear dives/collapses/falling to the ground (from both teams) but one or two other clear indiscretions e.g. Noorgard being knelt on, Baptiste being assaulted he seemed to think were clear 50/50's.

According to the OS, he will be taking part in Hounslow Borough Council takeover(?) on their Instagram account this evening at 8pm.

Again, thought he oozed class when he came on. Covered a lot of ground, great first touch, really sharp passing, always looking to go forward and very composed.

Clearly not phased by stepping up to this level.

An important piece in our jigsaw for this and next season.

Ladies and Gents, we have a talent here and he will be pick in the first XI sooner than most think.

Energy, skill, strength and pace, carries the ball with him as quick as he runs without it. Gonna be a firm favourite in red and white.

Agree with all of this, looks such a talent and if Dasilva has picked up an injury, Baptiste is as good as a replacement comes.

He looks very calm when he comes on, no stress in possession which was just what we needed. Certainly has earned the right to get a start and no doubt will get one soon as we juggle the squad over next couple of weeks

Baptiste and Forsu signing and Marcondes back has given us the strength in depth that I believe will see promoted this year.

Benefit of signing players from English league in Jan window. Up to speed quicker. Fit system quick too.

Thought Shandon slotted in superbly when he came on. He looks so classy on the ball, really would like to see more of him but who do you drop at the moment?! Guess we'll have to rotate slightly over the next couple of weeks so he'll get his chance..

Just does the simple thing well and always seems to have time on the ball.
