While a knee injury assume it is not an ACL as there was talk of a New Year return. Maybe a hangover from his injury at Oxford. As disappointing as it is I would guess and hope the club will ease him back.

The Club has a record of making judgements of when injuries need a complete reset, usually involving surgery. I expect this one is also similar.

He’s had such bad luck with injuries and basically his whole career has been on hold for 18 months , having only just got over a long term injury previously. The guy from the not t20 pod whose the Oxford fan used to wax lyrical about him and he watches a hell of a lot of football , he really does look like a right footed JDS from those clips .
Just got to hope that he can fully recover , don’t expect to see much of him this season if at all but you can see why we signed him , let’s hope he’s another Rico and not a Lewis McLeod in terms of injury recovery.
Good luck Shandon ! keep the faith it can’t be easy but I’m sure all Bees fans are rooting for you !

when he does get a sniff at first team football, we must show patience. It could be six months.

It has taken months for Canos to get match fit and regain his swagger and confidence. Many wrote him off - wrongly.

At Arsenal (my little club!) it took Bellerin months and Rob Holding more than a year since his return from serious injury.

Machines they aren't.

I think he could be very special - next season.

It gets to the point with some contracted players where you get to the final months of the season and though they are fit or approaching it, the staff are like nah, sack off this season mate and we'll get you in early for pre-season.

He needs to get some else creating the sub-titles, preferably someone that has a passing interest in English

The rehabilitation is a bit more ... professional... these days.
