Roger Stanislaus as Manager with Ijah Anderson as Assistant Manager, they'll definately enhance our performance!

Holloway is just Martin Allen without the tank tops. Passion used to be enough, but it's a much more technical game now.

Not quite sure about this, some of the football Blackpool played under Holloway was very good to watch. I'm undecided about whether he is the right man for us (should he want to come here). The one positive I can draw from this is that the calibre of manager we can attract now is very high compared to previous years.

Have you ever seen his teams play? Fast attractive, attacking, passing and successful football.

In fact, I reckon if he doesn't get the Wigan job we should sack Rosler and replace him with Holloway anyway :D :fishing:

A number of people are suggesting Ian Holloway, which is probably a good choice, but would he be popular wiyh all fans given that he once managed another west london outfit once upon a time.

He played for us too.

It will never happen with some but we need to get out of this mentality of hating and not wanting as a player/manager anyone who has had any association with Fulscum or QP Ha. I don't like them either but its the clubs I don't like not their ex employees !

Steven Pressley for me please. Dean Smith, Keith Hill, Paul Tisdale could do a job also imo.

People saying Holloway just passion are clearly retarted. His last two clubs he's won promotion? Playing good football?

Not to mention getting promoted out of this league with QPR. He's the ideal candidate.

And really, who gives a **** if he's managed QPR if he got us up I couldnt care less. We'd be more than lucky if he came here.

These Hasselbaink whispers are however giving me shivers. Please God NO!

One last thing, Solskjaer turned down the Villa job in summer 2012. He's not coming here.

Agree with the first statement and very worried if there is any likelihood of either of the last two.

it's not that simple is it... his palace team limped up last year, and was quite unpopular with their fans until May came around :)

"Limped up"... where they were heavy underdogs in both games in the play-offs against Brighton and Watford.

Also a promotion that was ahead of schedule for Palace.

Please return with a less idiotic comment next time please.

The only thing that won't be simple is getting him. His credentials are not in question.

Weren't Palace languishing near the relegation zone and then went on a storming run to the top six?

Trouble with Holloway is I don't know if he's mentally ready to manage again so soon, he's only just left Palace where he left because he was "exhausted" and felt he couldn't deal with the current situation. Maybe if we got him in in May ready for 14/15 but right now I don't think itd be a good shout, let him a rest!

How about Steve Coppel he is available don't know if he wants to return to management though but he would suit very well.

Not read this thread through, but I suspect MB/MW already have a Contingency in mind, very possibly from "Left Field", like Uwe was (doubt they'll bother with the 'same old same old' names who usually get mentioned).

But if their Contingency is not yet available, I personally think they could do a lot worse than Steve Coppell to take them temporarily, even through to the end of the Season:

Coincidence?

Probably, but then again....;)

whoa, nothing idiotic there son. my dad's a palace fan and there was significant discontent with how holloway ruined freedman's team in the second half of the season. as i said, until May (when they won the playoffs, fair play to him), he was not so popular there.

What your saying is literally mental, but okay lets say your correct; I'd still rather "Limp" to promotion as apposed to our "NO" promotion.

Jesus Christ some people.

Out of interest tree, who would be your prefered choice?

Have to agree. A Palace mate of mine couldn't stand Holloway and was pleased when he went.

Coppell for me. He is a very good Manager, in that he makes players better ;-) Would love him to come back
Will be interesting to see Uwe's reaction to all of us at the end of tomorrow's game.

Ray Wilkins would be interested - I believe GP/Jersey Rd are both on direct bus routes from his home.
