OK, don't want to tempt fate and be overly optimistic, but just imagine we actually win at Wembley......whilst I'd rather that they left us fans to sing our own songs the unfortunate fact is that we will be assaulted by staged music blasting at us from the Wembley tannoy system.

Assuming you don't want 'We are the champions' by Queen or even worse 'Rockin' all over the World' what do you want Sir Peter of Gilham to tell the Wembley people to play.

Kool and the Gang is a must for me to give us some link to good days at GP and maybe a bit of 'Hey Jude'.

What else.... ?

Pitbull - Feel this moment (ft Christine Aguilera)
Katy Perry - Firework,
Martin Solveig & Dragonette - Hello
David Guetta - Play Hard
Nelly - Hey Porsche
Imagine Dragons - Radioactive
The Saturdays - What about us
Misha B - Heres to everthing

and some other general but uplifting pop music but good for a happy, sunny day.

Personally i'd like a bit of Hard Fi, Groove Armada and.... oh yes and a certain Beatles song, but my dancing days are past me!

Thought the choice of music against Swindon was much better than normal...some good stuff - Hard Fi " Bring it on" , Stone Roses "This is the one" - etc...

Hey Jude is always a bit of an anti-climax, since only the end of the last verse and the chorus is used in the chant...in which the "na-na-nanana-na" melody is completely butchered. When it's played over the PA, most people have lost interest by the end of the first verse! Just so long as PG doesn't get on the mic and sing it!

After we win it should be something mental like Na na Na na by My Chemical Romance although it will be drowned out by "Queens Park Rangers - We're Coming For You". In the event of a defeat then Leonard Cohen it is.

I suspect we are going to hear Moving On Up which should bring back memories of previous play-off finals

I :love2: Celebration...makes me smile and gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it as I will forever associate it with a Bees victory.

I like Hey Jude but it has to be said many other clubs use it as their anthem too.

Firework
Edge of Glory

I love Hey Jude but 'we' never sing the right words and never keep to the timing of the music either so sound like numpties.

(My (ex) band (then signed) was once played at Exeter City. When they entertained Man United a few years ago - but no one listened)

I'm really glad that someone else has mentioned this ludicrous situation with the pa. But I'm disappointed that we are discussing song suggestions rather than stopping altogether.

If we've won promotion how on earth can that feeling be improved by blasting out some rubbish anthem and ruining the atmosphere. It's one of the most extreme examples of gilding the Lilly I can think of.

I wish more people would lobby the football supporters association about it. I did but they said nobody else had mentioned it. What's the matter with everyone!?
