I just found out that there are no trains between Clapham Junction and Barnes on Saturday.

There will be half-hourly trains between Barnes and Weybridge via Brentford, but the Hounslow loop will not be running.

There is a replacement bus service from Clapham Junction to Barnes taking 30 mins. Think I'll take the tube to South Ealing and walk.

Looks like trains are running normally from Staines/Feltham area to Hounslow/ Brentford. As previously stated, it is Clapham Jct to Barnes that has bus service replacement.

Thanks for the heads up - everything seems to be designed to stop me from attending games this season....

Car it is - and no beers for me.

Would I be able to get the Picadilly from Green Park to South Ealing?

Yes.
UPDATE:
There is a report of minor delays:

"Minor delays between Acton Town and Heathrow/Uxbridge following emergency engineering work at Stamford Brook and a signalling problem at Acton Town."

UPDATE: TfL site indicates now a "Good Service"
