Help please

It's a mates 50th next week, a lifelong Bees fan who although not a season ticket holder anymore still a diehard attending most home games.

A few of us want to club together and get him something "Brentford" that he can keep forever and remind of of this milestone. The 100 years of Brentford book or something similar, i.e. a signed shirt or that type of thing of equal value but nothing appears to be on e-bay at present. At a push I guesss anything collectable with a football theme would suffice and I reckon we are looking at spending £150 or so.

Any ideas or people with something to sell, please let me know or pm me.

Thanks in advance

Surely you'll be getting him a home shirt with his name and the number 50 on the back as well?
Thanks tc and yep it's already done, just fancied something of a little more collectable value as well.

Substantially less than £150, but what about a large, framed old black and white era photo from Empics?

http://www.eclient.empics.com/start.php?uN=brentfordfc

Pride of place on my bedroom wall is given to a fantastic action shot from a first division game in the thirties with a packed Brook Road Kop in the background.:sorted:
Cheers I'll have a looksy

Why don't you write to MA and ask him if they could do something special for £150. I'm sure that MA will come up with something suitable. Perhaps something similar to what is being offered for Charlton?

Russell got me a fantastic signed shirt for my big birthday, I am now looking for a couple of Division One programmes from 1935/8 which I could have suitably framed to display in a place of honour at home.

Not trying to hijack this thread but if anyone has one or two to sell please let me know via the thread or a PM.

Cheers.

Why not get a photo taken with Martin and co and the squad ? He could wear his new shirt ! Or ask Martin if some " action " photos could be taken at the training groung or GP with the team .Then make a framed collage of photos .I bet he'd love it ! I would !

I am auctioning a bees shirt on e-bay for charity, so you could kill 2 birds with one stone. A great present for your pal and help a worthy cause!!

Just so you know the cause is legit have a look at http://www.teamrichens.co.uk

The e-bay item number is: 8765743270

or do a search for Signed Brentford Shirt.

Thanks in advance for having a look.

Good try but most of the names were spelled incorrectly which proves that it is genuine !!

Thanks for all suggestions, just took the book down to training ground this morning, spoke to Whit and MA and all players happily signed with most making comments as well. Absolutely superb present, trouble is don't want to part with it now!
