Most people do use it to buy goods, being a prime member gives a priority on good and services and 2 hour window.
Amazon moved into TV and is rival not just to Sky but also Netflix. Amazon could outbid Sky too for future PL rights with huge cash reserves.
Amazon stores are also a major rival to major high street chains.
Amazon will stop at nothing....
Including taking on Mastercard and Visa.

Hello. Brentford fan in peace. Excuse my naivety but... how does this Amazon Prime malarky work? If I sign up for the £7.99 a month (or whatever) thingy, would I then be able to watch the game on a computer or something? I had Prime before a few years back for next day deliveries but never bothered with the telly thing.

On a computer, phone, tablet or most modern TVs (if you can get Netflix on your TV you can probably get Amazon Prime)

I have it for the free delivery. Which has been well over the 7.99 i pay a month. Occasionally watch Prime but rarely do. Gutted they didnt get the Ashes. But I'll be watching Norwich vs Newcastle later.

Then just log in using the same password you used to set up AP shopping and away you go.

Take care Mazz. I ordered something from Amazon and they signed me up to Prime even though I never asked for it. It took about 8 months and the involvement of my bank to cancel it and get the monthly subscriptions back which they took from the card I used for my original purchase.
Bosch and Goliath are a good watch!

I stopped buying from Amazon as they seem to auto enrol you on prime, and you can't seem to un tick the auto enrol.

You definitely can and you can also cancel after the auto enrol if you've been caught by that.

I found it would not allow me to untick the auto enrol, I then cancelled and have not used them since.

Went there to see a game just before the initial lockdown with a mate who is a Spurs fan and had seats near the top of the stand. I found stairs very steep which negotiating them at end of the game seemed a bit hazardous but apart from that no complaints. Comfortable seats with a great view and fast pouring beers which are filled from the bottom....much quicker system and like a lot of grounds now it is card only...no cash.
Also their light show on the day made our one v Everton look like a 30 watt bulb on the blink...
