Play our strongest side and we make history with an incredible 2-1 victory (Toney and mbeumo)....scenes

play a weakened Newcastle style side and we lose 2-0

it’s down to TF how this pans out...I have faith in him to make the right decision ;)

1-1 win on penalties with Toney, Fors, Mbeumo, Canos, Josh and Jensen all scoring, Dalsgaard heading another to equalise on 90 min.

I think Spurs will score first then sit back happy to have us in front of them and largely control the game. We come at them in the last 15 minutes and equalise late-on with a long-range effort from Janelt. No idea after that as I am hiding behind the sofa.

If we're not naive then could sneak it Jose rates us as PL quality Spuds have a fearsome attacking duo though... so I think is all down to luck really. Sometime it just is your day so I'm going 2-2 win on pens.

Does anyone feel that our postponement against Brizzle today will increase the chances of our playing a stronger side against Spurs?
Also does anyone think we might see Spurs sitting back and letting have the ball around the half way line meaning that we may end up dominating possession against a Premier league side playing at home?

Yeah I think that's likely the way it will pan out. However we won't have as much time and space when we get into their half than we do in most championship games; they'll be very aggressive and intense in the tackle. The problem is they could potentially destroy us on the counter especially if as expected Son and Kane both play.

So it is going to take a bit of tactical awareness; in a lot of our away games we do tend to sit deep and try to counter ourselves. I reckon Thomas will ensure Janelt (if he plays) sits deep with one other central midfielder sitting with him at all times. Rico can get up and down the field in seconds lol so can cover.

I'd love to see Toney starting as we have the option of going long and creating chances for players coming through whilst allowing players to sit deep to protect us against the counter.

It's a huge step up but I do think Tottenham's style gives us a little chance and with a bit of luck we might just get over this game.

Good to see Mourinho noting in his post match interview today with BBC after their game against Leeds that we are Premiership quality but also ‘fresh’ from not playing today.

Seen Spurs quite a few times this season and they do look impressive and they have a manager whom always takes each cup competition seriously. So expecting a strong line up from them with both Kane and Son starting.

We will give them a good game. I am going for a 2-2 if we play the team that started against Bournemouth.

Forss, Jensen, Rico, Norgaard and Toney our penalty takers with us winning 5-4 on penalties for a historical night

Goes a bit higher than Thomas Frank hey Mr Benham would you like to win a cup that you have 100/1 chance of winning and collecting 100 grand or go for the big one with minimum of 200 million return over 3 years with a4/1 chance ohhhh I’ll get back to you in 1 second.Stupid boy

Sky bet has us at 16/1 for the cup and a place in Europe for the first time since the early 1990’s. Who else remembers Ascoli away!

I don’t get your logic?
There’s no league game for a fortnight - 11 days from the semi-final, and the final’s not until 25th April.
So why is it an either/or? Are you saying 11 days isn’t enough rest before Reading away or have I missed the point?

Very good post, I think we will need to stop the ball getting to Kane to hold up, although spurs are also dangerous on the counter attack.

I think our odds of winning are less than 100/1 and the conversation should be more like "Hey Mr Benham, would you to win the club's first major silverware and have a bus tour of Hounslow?"

Spurs win 3-1 Jose will let us have the ball and we're get smashed on the counter.
We just don't quite have the attacking quality to break them down. They'll play strongest 11. Jose is a winner.

Would love to think well keep them out and either nick a goal or do it on pens.
Reality sees a 3 goal defeat I'm afraid.

As long as the players turn up and play the their strengths then any result is good for me. I'd love to make some of their more arrogant fans stop and think ideally.

On paper we're probably heading for a 3-1 defeat but with a little luck and a decision or two in our favour I can see 1-1 and with penalties anything is possible.

We've never lost in the semi-final of a major cup competition before ...

I just hope we put up a decent performance. I think the chances of beating them are very slim, 20% at best.

As with Spurs' league games this year, the match will very much depend on how well Kane & Son do. The decision of who plays RB probably the most difficult.
I am feeling confident for Tuesday, but more for the performance than result. Looking forward to seeing us go toe to toe with one of the "big boys", and I hope the club are seeing it as an opportunity to do so too.

I think we’ll probably lose, but play the first 11 and we’ll have a good go I’m sure

Loved our trips to Italy. Cessna away, staying in Rimini was a highlight, particularly having a pre match beer with billy the pitbull and geordie joe allon.

I know what you mean about the arrogant fans. It’s the non attending ones who get me. I can feel them patting my head and smiling condescendingly as they talk about Brentwood. The incredulous ‘ you do have a couple of really decent players’ and ‘oh do not worry this is a proper banana skin for us’ really grate.
I just want at the least to really scare the buggers by playing some of the football we are capable of. It will not stop the patronising but will send a message about the way this club is going

Bees this season are canny-er than last and we’ll be perfectly happy to let them have the ball after we go 1 up early on (lucky deflection, Canis shot).
Jose throws his dollies out the pram at H-T and puts on Kane and Son and Tottenham Hotspur’s eventually equalise with a dodgy late penalty.
Obviously we win the penalty shoot-out AET.

Tottenham Hotspur, home of “The Glory Game.” But not with Jose. Mourinho tries to park the bus and catch us on the counter. They get one, but we score from a trademark Ethan-involved corner routine. Spurs go all, well, Spursy. One of their donkeys gives away a pen under relentless last 10 minute pressure from the Bees and Ivan slots from the spot. Scenes.

Option 1) Bees win on pens 5 - 4. Forrs scores in the last min to force extra time then pens.

Option 2) Bees heavy defeat 4 - 1.

Option 3) Spurs refuse to play an hour before kickoff. As a number of their players and staff are told to self isolate and are then told to field their junior teams.
