Are the new squad number out today . It will be interesting to see what happens now that moses is going as he was surely going to be the new number 2 and Dougie surely won't be 8 again . I would love to see Judge get the 11 shirt

Douglas could be our first player in three figures.

They probably won't announce them today most likely, well not unless Button relents and accepts he has to wear the no. 1.

 thought they'd announced that it would be today, and seen it mentioned that Button prefers 27 (his and his wife's birthdays?) and why should he have to wear 1?

Didn't the manager said he needed a number 10? No good giving Number 10 to a Number 10 when we need a Number 10

Judge was no. 10 vs Norwich - having heard MD's in need of a 10 Judgey must have feeling a little uncomfortable

Perhaps Gray will get number 1 to make him feel special and wanted?

Just can't see Bonham or Smith being given the 1.

No number 8... Does that mean we are expecting another central midfielder?

I don't get why they have moved Hogan to 11 but vibe is 21 . If they are going to take the number 9 off of hogan i would have thought it would go to andre or vibe as they are both strikers . Also why is there no 8 when Kerschbaumer is number 17 thats just weird .

Some players like to have specific numbers. They're only used for identification purposes anyway, otherwise they're irrelevant.

I think there's one main thing we can tell from those squad numbers and that's nothing.

what numbers are judge and vibe and gary

Who is gary? Don't you use capital letters for the beginning of sentences, and for proper nouns? Why not look at the OS? as all the info you request is there. Thank you.

:imwith:

Also for registration purposes I believe. So on Saturday Konstantin Kerschbaumer commits an over the top tackle in the 20th minute:
Ref: "That's a red card my son what's your name ?"
KK: "Konstantin Kerschbaumer"
Ref attempting to write down: Const...Kanst... Kirsh.... boll*x Just give me your number.

Well you know i menat Gray and that it was a typo. So why feel the need to come on here being a dick about it .Yes i should have used capital letters at the start and yes i should have put a question mark at the end but big fing deal this a forum not homework club .

Why has it changed? Hogan was number 11, now he's number 9. Hoff was number 9, now he's disappeared! Weird scenes inside the goldmine...

I've just had a look and it's certainly changed from the first pass.

As you correctly state Hofmann has now disappeared from the list entirely and Hogan is back to #9.

It's bizarre. Hofmann is listed in the article as 9 but now doesn't exist in the list. Is he in *Hull?

I wonder if Hogan has kicked up a fuss about losing the number nine shirt?

A disruptive influence?

Next thing we know he'll be training on his own?

I was going to say that we should take the same attitude as Real Madrid when it comes to shirt numbers. You have the shirt number as long as you are at the club (ok, in the first team squad), newcomers can choose a new number and change as and when numbers become available. Seems the club is ahead of me for once :)

Maybe the numbers change on a day to day basis and it's gonna be a new marketing fund raising initiative..........guess what the players numbers will be at noon tomorrow at £10 a card. Pay out £25 if you get six or more correct.

Hofmann seems to be a non-person now........I wonder who he's upset. :)

Has Hofmann thrown his toys out of the pram and gone home? There are regular narrative errors on BFC website postings but this one goes beyond that. Very odd indeed.

I've just looked at Mark Devlin's twitter and he seems to be linking the official site's first attempt to tell us the squad numbers.

Mark Devlin twitter said:
German striker Philipp Hofmann, who joined from 1.FC Kaiserslautern takes up the number nine shirt.

Erm no he doesn't actually..........Hogan is now shown as #9 and Hofmann has disappeared. It will probably have changed again by the time I've finished typing this.
