I don't think it's in our ethos not to give senior players squad numbers. If he hasn't been disruptive, then he's part of the group until he leaves and there's no reason to cast him aside.

I agree no player should be felt forced to leave for no good reason, but just seeing that Racic doesn't have one

Valencia made one appearance before leaving on loan last season and no incoming signing took over his #16. This page is notoriously badly updated.
In a sense I feel bad for Valencia, injuries have harmed his first team chances and his physicality issues, could never see him playing in the prem unfortunately

No, valencia told a fan that he was likely to be leaving and he isn't in the squad for saturday. I'm guessing racic is leaving aswell

There were a few mistakes in the numbers and players missing in the tweet, it's different to whats on the website
did anyone else notice on Saturday, PG read out the team with the new numbers (as seen on the tweet which has now been deleted), the players wore different numbers to that & last season (for eg Ghoddos was no11) and then on the screen (photo attached) was a complete mish mash! Ajer & Ghoddos both 20
