We drew Middlesborough in the next round. Everyone's lost interest now so no-one's going to Stamford Bridge

Posted on report thread but more applicable here really:

Bound to be Sunday 17th considering Chelsea playing in Prague on the Thursday. Does anyone know why its scheduled for fifth round weekend?
Assumed it was due to Chelski's europa league matches but they dont have a midweek fixture for the replay week. Not that i'm complaining.

England v Brazil at Wembley on 6th Feb which would've been the replay date.

Not going to put me off going but....I reckon we will be paying £40 quid minimum for tickets....should make receipts well over the £1m mark.

How many players does that affect? Oscar andCole?
 as its a FIFA international friendly week I suppose all prem clubs get a week off as the players must be so tired. Bless 'em....also gives them time for their bruises to heal

What's occuring then? :pop:
What did I tell you vcmazz! ;) I'd love to know what's occurring...considering I correctly predicted the result, I'd say I deserve one. :D

Not fussy...will take one in the Glory Hunters end if that's all that's left!

Remember (as I've said on here in recent weeks)...won't go to Stamford Bridge unless it's to see The Bees...here's my chance, everything crossed. :hat:

6,000 tickets

2,600 season ticket holders - 1 each I'd imagine, will they all go? I know Jon Gosling is on holiday so I'm having his ticket before anyone else thinks they can have it :nono:
Leaves 3,400 (ish) for BU/BIAS et al - again 1 each
Still leaves some for the database supporters - at least some of them won't end up in Chelsea supporters' hands this time :nono:

2 each for ST holders mean 5,200 gone straight away leaving 600 for a bun fight. :nono:
Who cares will encourage more to purchase season tickets next season... Either way there will be 6000 Brentford fans there and a lot of season ticket holders won't be purchasing two some won't atrend.

Adult season ticket holders should get two and juniors one

Should be ok being in areas designated for Chelsea "fans" as most in there wouldn't know Lampard from a lampost.

Hmmm. Except that 5,000 of those 10,000 (myself included), will have absolutely no idea which bin their ticket stub is in .

Maybe the club should advertise "remainder of the season STs" for a couple of days before the Chelsea details come out.

Please allow ST to email someone rather than phoning, hanging on and being charged this time. A simple email of intent and then BFC call us to confirm when thier staff have time, it's a long shot but it might just work.

You may well do but as it has nothing to do with this thread, you're unlikely to find your answer here.

Chelsea have had loads of Cup Matches recently against Football League Clubs in the Cups http://thechels.info/wiki/FA_Cup

They appear to always get 40000 sell out

http://thechels.info/wiki/Chelsea_1-1_Southend_United_(2008-09_FA_Cup_3rd_Round) Even against Southend !!!

I think it is because they drop the prices from 50 to 30
They do but, especially for the cup games, they often get to general sale status long before it fills up. They'll publish the dates for each category on their tickets site. Also, a lot of their tickets go on to Viagogo.

Presumably the club gets a wedge from people dialling the the 0845 number; in any case, calling from a BT line will likely be free, depending on your call package (mine doesn't cover it, so I'm expecting a lump on my next bill too).
