Jill had promised she'd visit GP from time to time during her weekend's off from The Bridge, sadly I've yet to see her. You dont think she's giving Glaudio Ranieri private English tuitions do you??!!

Jill watches the Bees whenever Chelsea aren't at home, she loves the club and we lost one of the good dedicated ones when she left

Remember her from my stretch as a teenage steward. “Stop smoking. Watch the crowd not the match. Don’t celebrate the goals it looks bad on telly. Stop talking to your mates. Take your hands out your pockets.”
Well done Jill.

Lovely to see this.

I remember Jill from her days at Brentford and the fact she went on to have a long and successful period at Chelsea is testament to her abilities and knowledge around crowd safety.

(Could be wrong) but pretty sure she continued to purchase a season ticket at Griffin Park and would get along to games when she could.
I know she did aways from time to time, she was at the famous Cheesehat incited incident at Charlton.

Really pleased that such a nice lady has received an award for her hard work - at Brentford as well as Chelsea, although of course only the 'big' club was mentioned!

Presumably she is now recognised as a Member of the Brentford Elite!!

1. It was a story on Chelsea's own web site
2. Brentford were mentioned.

One of the nicest people I have met at BFC...always polite and helpful and would sort anything out even if it wasn't her remit. Always made time to stop for a chat no matter how busy she was and as has been said before a hard taskmaster when needed.

I worked with Jill about 50 years ago in an accounts office in Hounslow. She was a delightful person, always helpful and a true Bee!
So pleased that she has been rewarded in this way.

By the way, I might claim the longest gap between posts - my last one was in 2012!

I worked as a steward at the club between 1989 and 2000, having Jill as safety officer along side Dave Bond as chief steward they were a pleasure to work for. So good luck Jill deserves everything she gets.
