We could do with another body in CM. Our neighbours Fulham have a very decent, experienced international player who they are likely to loan out or sell this month (if they can)*.

Given similar styles of play at both clubs, our Scandinavian links, and how local we are it might be a nice simple deal to strike?

Might not be a long-term signing or an automatic starter but expect to be available relatively inexpensively and his promotion experience at this level might be very useful in the dressing room.

I'm not sure we'll just bring someone in to be another body in midfield. We've got B teamers who can do that and Zamburek coming back. If Norgaard turns out to be out for the rest of the season then that's a different matter but can't see anyone coming in for the sake of it..

We've run rings around him every time he's played us. The only midfielders of theirs who have ever played well against us were Cairney and McDonald

Cairney is a good box to box player but too expensive. Mcdonald is not bad either but no better than what we already have.

Personally, I would not be surprised to see us bring in Centre Back as cover for Pontus and MBS.

I'll never forget his smirking face when he was subbed late on at the Cottage last time we played there in front of a crowd. He thought it was really funny to take an age to walk off the pitch. I haven't enjoyed a late equaliser so much since Swindon in the POs. We cost them automatic promotion that day although that has since returned to bite us on the arse. Don't rate him, rather have Bannen.

I think Johansen, Cairney and Macdonald, all over 30 (next week, anyway) are all past their peak and show it in their recent performances. A few years ago maybe...

I do think we have a bit of a habit of undervaluing our own players and over-hyping other teams'... Seen a lot on twitter banging on about getting in a couple of Preston or Barnsley midfielders to 'help us over the line'. Whilst there may be a couple that could add something I don't feel they have anyone that will make such a massive difference to us compared to what we've got to make it worthwhile.. Guess that's the issue with this window. If we're going to bring someone in they need to make an instant impact and also be significantly better than what we have already, and all for a decent price, in January.....
