Not sure if this has been asked but if a player was out of contract on June 30th and signed for us, I assume he couldn't then play for us until next season?
The B team could be world beaters between 1 July and the start of the 2020-21 regular season!

Right back. I suppose we will be planning for the replacement of HD for the near future.
We are looking for a replacement for the replacement (Rasmussen) for HD?

He is Mads Roerslev Rasmussen!
That's three players in one, how shrewd are our Directors of Football...that'll be three incoming fees...genius!

😂😂😂 Amazing^

Id hope he was able to play in other positions if we are in. Right back options are solid, especially for the championship and if he was, our directors of football would know and have a plan. Interesting though, given it was with 2 Premier league teams.

I don't see he can't play "this season". As long as we can registrar him. So it depends when the "registration window" opens....

Very tenuous link this but found this tweet from Jimmy Cabot, winger for L'orient. He's confirmed he's leaving this summer despite helping them to promotion. The chap he's retweeting suggests he's off to the Championship... Brentford pops up in the replies somewhere in the thread. Couldn't be arsed to go through the whole thread and translate but given our recent success with French players there may be something in it?

According to reports, #Olympiakos are cancelling the loan of Emre Mor who has not satisfied Pedro Martins since arriving in January

The Turkish winger will head back to Spanish club Celta Vigo after only 2 appearances in the Greek Cup for Olympiakos. #SLGR https://t.co/Z898B5viJ5

Dont think we will be going back for him

Saw in Local Peterborough rag that we bid 8 million or thereabouts for Ivan Toney in January which was turned down and may be back in for him once our season done. I guess that could well depend on Watkins situation And whether sold of course and division we will be in.

He would be a good replacement for Joel Valencia, if we give up on him.

Think we could do better than League Two?
you'd have thought but given our success in France I wouldn't worry if we brought one in from that level. Given that this chap is 26 I think, I suspect it's unlikely in this case though but who knows?

Why would we "give up" on a player?? He has suffered an injury and if the times comes it will be because we feel he is better suited for another side or hasnt developed enough.

But i very much doubt we give up on players. We will push these young lads to develop to the best of their potential.

I was joking, your spelling of Lorient as "L'orient" read more like Leyton Orient!

Its true that we haven't seen very much of Valencia so the jury is still out on him. But it often tends to be forgotten that he is older than most of our recruits (already 25) so his development potential may be more limited.

I'd expect Valencia to go out on loan next season

L'Orient is a Ligue 1 team. L. Orient is League 2 team. It would seem that using them both for comedic effect is prone to confusion and shouldn't be risked. ;)

I meant it’s a v badly designed web page, ads all over the place, text from the article spread between various ads and video clips. Horrendous..!
OK. I read it differently, that the veracity of the website was "seriously crap". Let's see.
