Exclusive: Brentford in advanced talks to sign Williams on free transfer
Interesting!!Exclusive: Brentford in advanced talks to sign Williams on free transfer
Looks good until you see John Mousinho just underneath him!’
Out of contract now.Defensive midfielder by the looks of it. Out of contract in summer..
Has Mo Eisa not been highly touted?Looks good until you see John Mousinho just underneath him!’
Back in League One?Thought he'd be more willing to link up with his old boss Keith Hill at Barnsley?
Does not mean much though does it. Were they passes of 6 ft or 30 foot, backwards, sideways or forwards etc etc. Was he under pressure or playing for possession? There are obviously many other attributes that make him standout.John Mousinho in fourth place. Our old player
Very interesting. What could this imply? Too old for the B team presumably. Yearwood needs more time to develop? Back up for Norgaard? Or, just hoovering up talent whenever it’s available?Exclusive: Brentford in advanced talks to sign Williams on free transfer
Blimey you sound like my wife. So many questions in one breath!Does not mean much though does it. Were they passes of 6 ft or 30 foot, backwards, sideways or forwards etc etc. Was he under pressure or playing for possession? There are obviously many other attributes that make him standout.
Josh Mac proved that one.Does not mean much though does it. Were they passes of 6 ft or 30 foot, backwards, sideways or forwards etc etc. Was he under pressure or playing for possession? There are obviously many other attributes that make him standout.

oh yeh! I've lost all track of time....Out of contract now.
Yearwood's not a defensive midfielder, he's more Yennaris-like and seems to be struggling to make an impact with regular injuries. Mokotjo's not good enough in DM and probably will be released so we're clearly looking for backup for Norgaard which seems eminently sensible. I think at least one other player we've been linked with so far was a DM so that's obviously high priority..Very interesting. What could this imply? Too old for the B team presumably. Yearwood needs more time to develop? Back up for Norgaard? Or, just hoovering up talent whenever it’s available?
He was highly rated a few years ago at Liverpool but had a few injuries in loan spells that seemed to set him back. A holding midfielder who's definitely more of the Norgaard type than a Woods/McEachran.Exclusive: Brentford in advanced talks to sign Williams on free transfer
I would say its all about the player we can help him become rather than the player he currently is. Stats can only take you so far.Rochdale conceded the fourth highest number of goals in League 1 last season and Jordan has yet to score a single league goal. This would be a truly inspired signing were it to happen and prove successful.
All I can do is apologise! Hope it did not cause you any trauma!Blimey you sound like my wife. So many questions in one breath!

Good pointI'd be inclined to say this signing would help us fill our "home grown" status for the squad. I don't know the exact amount you have to have but we have a fair few overseas players.
I don't think that's really an issue at the moment. If we're interested in signing him it'll be mainly because we think he's a very good player with sufficient potential for us to develop..I'd be inclined to say this signing would help us fill our "home grown" status for the squad. Interestingly Gunnarsson has stated (in a translation) that "As we have said, we have been in a great deal of trouble with English players, there must be seven in a team and we just got it by having England as a substitute. It was more than ten times during the first half of the season that I was selected as a team but was replaced by a substitute day before the game due to a lack of English players".I don't think that's really an issue at the moment.
He left about five years ago and is out with a long-term injury.Wasn't Paul Kalambayi on the Bees books at some time fairly recently?
He could become our little good luck charmI’d be devastated if we miss this opportunity to sign Elvis. Ah ha ha.

hmm, interesting. Didn't realise it was an issue. Thought we were having more trouble with the club developed player? Anyway, still pretty sure the main criteria for signing this chap from Rochdale would be ability and potential!!Interestingly Gunnarsson has stated (in a translation) that "As we have said, we have been in a great deal of trouble with English players, there must be seven in a team and we just got it by having England as a substitute. .
On a slightly Different tack, where is Gunnarsson? Is he back with the club as we appear to be short of goalkeepers, or where against Portsmouth.Interestingly Gunnarsson has stated (in a translation) that "As we have said, we have been in a great deal of trouble with English players, there must be seven in a team and we just got it by having England as a substitute. Wasn't it only a Twitter rumour about this guy. Look at the Rochdale fans forum and he doesn't get a mention in their player of the year thread. I found one comment making fun of the fact that we'd be signing him on the basis of stats. He seems an unlikely signing -- maybe just an agent at work here?hmm, interesting. quite possible but at least it's something to talk about!Wasn't it only a Twitter rumour about this guy. Clearly a B team signing as he is under 20Ornstein on Folarin Balogun: “Pre-shutdown there was a good chance he would be leaving this summer. I don’t know about the situation now. There hadn’t been a contract offer the last I hear but that may have changed. A lot of clubs watched him at the #afc v Man City youth game.” https://t.co/gCWX9raVTj
We tried to sign him in jan. Link below.
The Mail say Brentford are readying a bid up to £5m for Folarin Balogun who has 18 months left on his current #Arsenal deal. Milan are interested, too. https://t.co/hBvyw7IPiA
probably just to top up our home grown players.Clearly a B team signing as he is under 20![]()
Interesting. Has a particularly sh*t record for a striker. Maybe the source is Mrs Romeney.Apparently 'following' Ole Romeny at NEC Nijmegan, according to Voetbal International. 20 y-o forward. Plenty of others interested too.
9 in 20 according to an article linking him to Real SoceidadInteresting. Has a particularly sh*t record for a striker. Maybe the source is Mrs Romeney.
A few stats from TransferMarket:Interesting. Has a particularly sh*t record for a striker. Maybe the source is Mrs Romeney.
I think his agent wishes he’s a striker. Watkins Mk 2 maybe. Highlights show Right footed & seemingly well-built. Powerful runs on both wings. Doesn’t so much dribble past opponents, as take the ball through them a lot of the time! Creates unusual angles and has a trick or two. On first viewing, not an un-Brentford player.Interesting. Has a particularly sh*t record for a striker. Maybe the source is Mrs Romeney.
