I think his agent wishes he’s a striker. Watkins Mk 2 maybe. Highlights show Right footed & seemingly well-built. Powerful runs on both wings. Doesn’t so much dribble past opponents, as take the ball through them a lot of the time! Creates unusual angles and has a trick or two. On first viewing, not an un-Brentford player.
From the video reels I’ve seen, I see a talented 20 year old that could do well for a couple of seasons in the Championship

looks interesting.. Certainly seems to have the strength for the Championship, looks to have a bit about him though not as elegant as Benhrama by any means!!

Seems to be a bit of a theme with recent player links from the summer onwards. Defensive midfielders and flair players..

Well given that Kamo and Nikos are probably going to leave plus Said and Ollie most likely (promotion dependant) we are going to need a defensive midfielder plus 2/3 that can play in the front 3

Yeh, and Kamo's not really a true DM in the way that Norgaard is.. I think Said is def going to be off but have hopes that Ollie would stay if we actually managed to go up..

I think Mokotjo was signed on that basis but Christian has set the benchmark. We need another of that quality (or potential); now we've seen what the position demands, it seems a long way from what we thought in the past.

Jaako Oksanen; positively runs the show in front of the back four in quality B Team games; ready to step up.
Yes, I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of him with the first team this season And that he wasn’t promoted with Racic, Roerslev etc. Perhaps we think he still needs to toughen up a bit? Had a spell out injured which might have set him back a bit x

He has been promoted; defo in the FT Squad, although I am not sure why he hasn't quite figured; just because of the terrific strength we have in depth now, perhaps

No I don't think so. He's been involved in the first team a lot but still a B team player I think. Could be wrong!

Folarin Balogun set to leave Arsenal after new contract with the club couldn't be agreed. Club don't want to lose him for free as he has 12 months left on contract and would be expected to insert sell on clauses into exit arrangements. [@David_Ornstein]

I hope we sign him.

Well we were certainly interested in Jan, however, that has probably alerted a few clubs so we may face stiff competition..

That's the way it is now, once we show interest in an little known player everybody else want him. ;)

I think he will see how DaSilva in a similar position at Arsenal left and is now a regular in a top Championship side, he will see we have a proven track record. I agree this would be a very Brentford signing

Was just about to post that Balogun, has not signed a new contract with Arsenal and set to leave.. Arsenal fans having a meltdown on Twitter (not quite the levels of their Fans TV people) one user mentioning that someone inside Arsenal is sabotaging the club..... very much a Brentford signing! Fingers crossed

Could someone better educated than me, tell me why he is so highly rated. Loads of kids have good youth records but what sets him apart. Arsenal fans fear this could be a repeat of Serge Gnabry

I think that ship has long sailed. Does not look a Bees signing to me now. He’s 30 and wants a big pay day and probably a 3 year deal. And if we do get to the promise land I don’t think he’s Prem quality..

I think we'll need to get used to being linked to loads of randoms that their agents want to get talked about for the next couple of months.

I think the Toney interest is legit. We tried for him in January, didn’t we?

Rangers went bankrupt and they won’t risk that again. Celtic never pay more than a couple of million. Funnily enough, interest from Brentford has a bigger effect on the price. What gets me is, people are even willing to spend big on say, Konsa. I wonder why.

I know we were linked but did we actually put a bid in? He seems like he might be a little over-priced for our tastes..
Their mouthy owner said that a promotion chasing championship team had put in a very good offer that was declined and macanthony told them they would revisit it in the summer. said championship club went back and told him that boro may want to reconsider because they only had a 21% (or similar) chance of promotion. I mean, it might not have been us but....

With Wigan under administration are there then some of their players that should be a target for Brentford? Antonee Robinson reminds me a bit of Rico Henry although he was very close to join AC Milan this january

The only player I would take is Kieran Dowell but he's only on loan there anyway

After watching lots of Championship games over the past 2 weeks, who has impressed the most & would suit the "Brentford Style" my top pick would be Bannon from Sheff Wed, he would be a perfect fit for our style. also DaSilva at Bristol City would offer great competition to Rico.

He's 31 this year...
I don't know what his contract situation is but if he was available I wouldn't be surprised if we picked him up if we go up. Already more or less said he wants to play for us and I don't think age is the factor it was three years ago. We spent nearly £6m on a 28 year old, after all.

There would be no chance, absolutely no chance ! I doubt MB’s master plan was to use the data analysis to get to the top, then dump it and sign Barry Bannan !

Robinson is very very good but realistically out of our price range. I think the AC Milan deal was going to be worth £10m.

I also can’t see why we’d have spent the reported £1m(ish) on a teenager like Dom Thompson if we weren’t planning on him stepping up if/when Rico leaves.

There are youngsters there like Joe Gelhardt but there will be stiff competition.

Not so sure. If we go up I'd be surprised if we didn't add 2 or 3 older heads to the squad. Plus TF rates Bannan highly
