He’s probably the one they’re least likely to sell.

I’d take Pickford if we got an offer we couldn’t refuse for Raya.
Can't see him staying if they get relegated TBH although Mudryk is probably better VFM

Anthony Gordon would probably be the only one that would interest me based on position and age - needs to cut out the diving though
Yes, but on my limited observation he falls into the d***head category.

Great shot stopper but his playing out from the back is less than desirable. Always looks like he is going to make a mistake

I think their fans would riot at selling “one of their own”

That is more I think down to the dross in terms of ball playing ability in front of him for both England and Everton.

Probably the most likely one to be sold, at around 20M I would expect and probably to Newcastle. Bit of a w***er but clearly their best player.

I thought his distribution against us earlier in the season was excellent and left the game thinking he really is a top keeper, but we already have the best leeper in the Prem so we won't be interested in him. Would be sold for 30+ M being the England keeper, probably to Newcastle.

Hopefully he’ll play slightly worse for them as a Mackem.

Danish pundits think that Thomas Delaney (Sevilla) or Jannick Vestergaard could go to Brentford this summer. Delaney might want to try PL before ending his career and does not play every time in Sevilla.

I'd like us to go for Harvey Elliot. Loan or buy. We need more creativity in the side.

Delaney would be great but it's not a position that's of the greatest priority

Mudryk being linked fairly heavily with Leverkusen now. Not sure it always ends well if we have to compete with a club that offers Champions League football (until we can…). Rather hoping Phil Giles knows something positive here that I don’t…

Would like to see us go for Malcolm Ebiowei from Derby, watched most of the games he's been in and he has heavily impressed me

His wages could be a big problem
He'll get a lot more game time next season, I don't really see him going anywhere else, but yeah, his wages and loan fee would be ridiculous.

One thing I believe we lack in our squad is a winger that can dribble past a full back - we got in some excellent positions today when we had one on one with the full back but didn't have the players to dribble past them. I would love for us to sign Keane Lewis-Potter.

Him, Johnson or Mudryk would be a fantastic piece of business.

That would be unbelievable business. I do feel that Toney and Bryan at the moment have no challenge to their positions. We are limited in the forward options and one area we really do need to strengthen in terms of squad numbers.

We are missing the speedy players who can take on the defence and play the final ball well. Rico and Bryan can do the former well but need to work on the latter.

Current recruitment targets (mudryk, lewis-potter, johnson, hickey) suggest the club are thinking the same

Now we are certain in the plans. We can rip up plan B and fully, unequivocally, focus on plan A.

Knowing all at the club would be, will be really busy. Knowing an old mate was now unemployed as of today. I called him this morning and said. I know of a couple of days work, bit boring but it’s all about getting rid of a plan B.

Unfortunately, something got lost somewhere as all I got in reply was, sorry, what do you mean by plan B, plan B means nothing to me. You try and help some people but they just don’t help themselves, as they only think of themselves.

I eventually realised I was going no where, so game up and made by self a nice sandwich, made from Warburton bread of course 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Tough job for the recruitment team. As evidenced by the Vanderson transfer we are fishing in a smaller pond with lots of bigger anglers. If we get Eriksen and Mudryk, plus a right back, that would be amazing.
Combine that with agents becoming progressively more avaricious the higher you get. Quite a few represent their own best interests not their clients and demand big fees for themselves for bringing players to a club. Given that MB (quite rightly in my mind) won’t play that game, that further decreases the pool of players available to us

Jamie Vardy stepped up from Conference Premier at Fleetwood to Championship football at Leicester at 25. His first season he scored 4 goals in 26 games.

Scott Twine is just 22, he could do with next season in the Championship to get used to that level. It isnt beyond his scope that he couldn’t become a Premier League player in the future

From Wikipedia
Style of play[edit]
Twine has a reputation for scoring long range goals from both open play and free-kicks.[25][26][27] Primarily a number ten throughout his career to date, Twine can also operate as a left-winger or striker.

He’s had a better season this year in league 1 than Johnson had for Lincoln this time last year, both of which were playing for the 3rd place team. I’d be surprised if we hadn’t at least considered him.

I hope TF will give Mæhle a call. He isnt playing to his full potential in Atalanta, as he does on the national team, were he is absolutely insane. And im sure TF know exactly how to play Mæhle.
Would be a brilliant signing, It’s a lot more realistic this summer than it was last summer now we’ve shown our ability to compete. Will also have a larger budget, along with Eriksen who in particular with Danish targets will make us so much more attractive.

Twine from what ive seen doesnt have the athletic attributes weve identified as essential in the prem. Good technically but we have eriksen for that business!

Tell Jamie Vardy that
He never played in L1. Went from Conference to 2 seasons in Championship to PL. More like Andre Gray (they diverge a bit after that!).

Right-footed but plays LB/LWB… what’s the story there?

He’s a natural right back, just got moved onto the left for Denmark as they have a lot more right backs than left backs, and did really well there at the Euros.

One of our Danish friends on here said the only left footed defender in their squad is Vestergaard.

When you see a country of similar size like Scotland have a conveyor belt of LBs it's quite funny.

He can play on both sides. He got his breakthrough on the right side, was moved to the left by Hjulmand, on the national team. He has played both sides in Atalanta.

Exactly! His step up was even greater in terms of number of leagues that Twine's would be. If Twine ends up like Andre Gray, it would be nothing sort of a disaster
