I really wish this game was at home I'd go for a convincing win. We arnt consistent enough away from GP, but as it's the cup I'm going to go for a 2-2 thriller before we win on pens

Ospreys v Ulster will give the pitch a right going over on Friday evening, at least the weather being kind this weekend should help it recover. Should be good preparation for 2020.

Be right for Luke to start in goal.

Please, please start with the strongest side, that means Kamo and Romaine in midfield.

If we do we have a real chance of making the QFs

No they won't, the match is at the Brewery Field, Bridgend - so no excuses about the pitch, unless Swansea follow the Blackburn and Forest lead of not cutting it this week to slow us down!

Come on Brentford ! and Ulster!!

I was only going on what the Ospreys website had listed, certainly the pitch looked a bit cut up against Milllwall last w'end. A week of fine, warm sunshine should've improved it immeasurably.

I've got a feeling this is going to penalties.

Up the road from NCFC (again - I think permanent t
As the BBC Wales thread is now closed, and seemed only to concentrate if this was on the SKY platform, does anyone know if BBC Wales is available on Freeview?

BTW, Bees to win 3-1 if TF treats this match properly - we don't know his priorities.....

I just had a look at the Swansea ticketing site (what a beautiful thing that is, by the way) and the calls for a protest seem to have fallen on deaf ears because there isn’t a massive amount of availability.

Also, Stuart Atwell is the ref.

Prediction

1-1 after FT, who knows after ET
14,150 (1,400 Bees)

Hot on the heels of my only correct prediction this season against Villa, our away form against similar sides this season indicates we won't win. However, it's the cup.

Therefore, I'm going for a 3-1 win for us in normal time!

In the shed.
Swansea decide to play their "B" team against "The Bees Team" and get stung 0 - 5.

I have a funny feeling that we are going to win this one. Despite league positions, I believe we are a better team than Swansea now, and the result will show that to be the case. I’m predicting 2:0 to the super Bees, but Man City in the next round....

They will press us hard to stop us and we will do the same to them.IMO it will be a battle of wills so whoever wants it most will win. We haven't often turned up away from home but this is different. I think we will edge it.

Anyone know if Sergi is fit?
According to BBC Sport website.....

TEAM NEWS
Swansea's Oli McBurnie could start after returning from illness to come on as a substitute in midweek.
Nathan Dyer is a doubt with a hamstring problem, while Leroy Fer, Declan John and Wayne Routledge are all ruled out with hamstring, ankle and calf injuries respectively.
Brentford will assess Rico Henry, who has been sidelined with a foot injury.
Fellow defender Henrik Dalsgaard is hoping to play, despite breaking a bone in his hand in training last Monday.

No mention of Canos.

Leroy Fer is the real good news, as far as I'm concerned.

Leroy Fer was outstanding against us at GP and very happy he’s not available

We don't have a very good record recently against them. This is a tough, but winnable, trip. It really could go the distance. Think our fans need to play a big part to progress. Penalty shoot out for me.
