For me, after what I've seen today, he's either the new Messi or the new Ricky Shakes but probably somewhere inbetween :D

Fosu came on first, so isn’t 1002, he’s 1001.

The Oxford two would have come on with a decent understanding between them, which I guessed was a consideration at the time. Fresh legs to see the game out, that's all.

Surprised no comments about Fosu? Thought he looked very positive when he came on and we were so much more threatening the last 10 minutes or so. Probably should have scored as was already celebrating when his shot hit the post and missed the rebound because of that. Took players on, looked quick and put intelligent balls into the box

Thought he looked very good when he came on. With Mbuemo running on empty you wonder if he’s close to a start.

him and Valencia actually gave us better options at the end. We perhaps need a little more confidence in the subs to make an impact at times as we do seem to let players drift through games in the hope that they'll come up with some magic out of the blue. Mbuemo was having a shocker and had completely lost his composure and should prob have been subbed a lot earlier.

Fosu's good moments have come down the left-hand side, which is where he played for Oxford. If he were to replace Mbeumo, then he'd be on the right wing unless we move Benrahma over there.

Agree and I was thinking about this on the way home last night - Mbuemo is our only ‘inverted right winger’ so we do seem very reliant on him.

I do wonder if JDS could play on that side of the front three...

yeah he's done a couple of 10-min spells there (can't remember when or why now  ), so definitely "possible"...

Fosu definitely made a couple of nice runs. don't think Benrahma playing on the right would be a disaster by any stretch...

Lovely finish through the defenders legs. Would like to see him get some more minutes.

Looked very comfortable linking up with the front 2/3... very good player we have here and will be a massive asset in the run in

In his ‘cameo’ at Luton his was one of the few (only) positives. Word from Said when he came on. Could he be this season’s FloJo?

Looked impressive when he came on in his link up play and seems to be a bit of a physical specimen. Nice goal too although some suspect defending.

Happy with the strength in depth he brings, suspect he would start if either winger was unfit.

Bumped into Tariqe just now in Waitrose in Thame, lovely young man was happy to chat with me and my daughter - this has almost made up for the game being postponed she was so excited. Congratulated him on his goal at the weekend and discussed the situation with the Corona virus briefly - they are as much in the dark about what's going to happen as us not surprisingly. Another credit to the club - seems we just keep signing talented players and decent human beings. Didn't keep him long as he was shopping with his other half but at least I got to see one Bees player live in action this evening - even if it was just shopping lol

He looked good.

Willing to take a player on, direct, tricky and clever. A few misplaced passed if I'm being overcritical, but looks a threat, got dangerous crosses in and gets shots away. Good addition on today's performance.

Pleasing!

He slots in pretty well, doesn't look out of place at all. Not the same level as Bryan (that sounds harsh, but Bryan is very good) but honestly I'm surprised at how readily he fits in given his length of time here. Oxford do play good football though so maybe that's also what gave us confidence in this deal.

Tarique best position is on the left . I didn’t notice if we did but if didn’t surprised that those two didn’t swap wings especially in first half when on top. Valencia’s preferred position is on right

He's definitely a good option. A bit more subtle than Mbuemo but clearly gets the way we play and his movement is very good, comes inside, swaps wings, goes central..

Bryan replaced Tarique tonight.....
Tarique and Said swapped wings for a time v Fulham though, and TF looked good out left I thought....

Two of the toughest games to come into for his first two starts against 3rd and 1st.

He’s done well and shown flashes of class, but I think he will come into his own in games where the opposition is defending deeper, and he has space to run at the defence as his dribbling and 1v1 play is very very good.

I meant swapped into the starting lineup quite well, we all know it's Bryan would normally start, but we didn't look weaker as a result with him there instead.

He must be incredibly one-footed if he doesn't have the confidence to gently guide that chance in the opening few seconds into an open net.

yeh, that was frustrating! Not his best game for us yesterday, quite involved but final ball often let him down.
