Consistency of performance is his next level imo.
Hopefully he will keep on improving 👍

I also think he needs to try pushing the ball further when running with it. He is excellent at moving past lots of players in a short space, but when running with the ball he is slow as he has such tight control of it. A bit hit and miss, but if last night is the level of his miss, he will become some player! We will develop him.

Wow yeah...how did he not hit that!? Was absolutely there if he went with his weaker foot.
That is a concern. Big fan of his energy and he's very skilfull but I was cursing that last night. It looked harder to control it with his left than just pass it in.

I think most players would have missed that chance first time off the wrong foot. But it was a little concerning that he didn't even try.
particularly as the goal he scored against Sheffield Wednesday (through the legs of the defender and just inside the right hand post) was with his left foot!

I hope so. At the moment, all I see that's useful is his pace. He's got a bit of something about him, but he loses the ball a lot, makes bad decisions, etc. Decent for a backup winger, which is his role, but he's got a fair way to go...

Properly good tonight. Potential with development to become a proper right back?

I wonder if he has played there before? Would imagine our training staff can instill in him additional defensive awareness but at championship level he could be quite a threat down right hand side with Rico on left, both having the pace to recover from any mistakes. A comparison I suppose to Odubajo with his first season with us when he was signed as a right winger and soon made right back slot his own, where his value to team was much greater, and he used his pace to cover for any defensive deficiencies.

Amazing display at right back. No need for loans now. He’s shoe horned in as a stand in IMHO.

I think he played a few games at LB for Oxford.

Even though Fulham were poor they’re still a PL team. He’s not going to be matched up against many players as tricky as Lookman and he dealt comfortably enough with Kebano who is also a decent player at Championship level. He’d balance with Henry at LB well. He’s also going to struggle getting a game up front if Said stays but earns a subs bench spot by being able to come on for a FB as well.

Thought he was quality, my only slight criticism of TF towards the end of last season was he insistent to start with only 12/13 players. Fosu would not have let us down if he started a few more games.

Yep very good! Fits into the team very well where ever he plays! Definitely added value to the team bringing him in during January.

I believe Fosu began the restart with a start, in for Mbeumo, who had COVID and he didn't seem to do much wrong...then he was dropped back to the bench, despite Mbeumo not really being at the races for much of the run-in.

Just seen the TF interview, like how he compared Fosu with Dani Alves (y)

He was very good and not wanting to criticise at all given he was standing in and did so well.

But feel I should temper some of the positivity but mentioning that from my POV there was a definitely a couple of shaky defensive moments. The Lookman/Robinson combo had him on toast for a lot of the second half.

Still prefer Dalsgaard there for now for sure

I wouldn't worry. I doubt we'll see him there again v often if at all..

Tariqe is playing again vs Qatar. He started off at RB last time before being pushed forward to right wing back. Once pushed forward the defence moved the ball left and down the left side. At RWB he was almost unused, I hope that doesn’t happen again today. Also need a better team performance

Well done Tariqe. 'Who needs S.B.'
Think he's got some way to go to match SB! Hopefully once all the dust is settled both he and Canos will get enough time to get the consistency they need to make the step up. I see them both at very much the same level. Loads of promise but final ball/decision making often lacking. If they can get it right more often then we'll be laughing..
