Northern monkey who needs to be taught a lesson to stop the others in a similar position doing the same.

Tarkowski you have been scrubbed from BFC history and memories.

I hope you like training on your own.

Cant!

While proper football people were clapping my dad and others who died this year and moved on to the GP in the sky, this **** sulked while earning £5k a week.

I don't want to see him wear our colours again.

Send to the stiffs for 18 months.

Cant!

Tanker (it seems more apt) should be picked as a sub every match never played but run the gauntlet warming up .
If someone meets the valuation on the piece of s##t sell him especially a rival as we need a new Rowlands.

A complete lack of respect for a club that looks after its players, and a total lack of respect for the fans who help pay his inflated salary. Sit in the stiffs untill someone pays our valuation, however long that takes.

Tarkowski could not have played any better than Jack O' Connell who I feel could become one of Brentford's all time favourites.

You have to go some to become as popular as Martin Rowlands and Paul Brooker in one night.
This fella has just showed his lack of brains and character in one decision.
Talk on the New Road tonight was as supporters we are prepared to take a step backwards to mid table middleness if we can get rid of the players who don't want to play for us and have a team less talented but wanting to play for the shirt.
We are a club built on heart spirit decency and in the last two years high skills.
Tarkowski has shown none of these qualities in looking for a move, in 24 hours he has put our season on the back foot and his career back 18 months.
Unreliable, untrustworthy and a complete ****. Great qualities in any club that wants him. Ta ra Tarky, players with your attitude will never be missed!

Sounds like MB showed compassion with Jota (or sounds like it for all I know). I hope he can now show the opposite for JT

Maybe why the club put out a statement which is very unlike us. The club have struck first in what is likely to be a war of words, it has placed him prominently as the bad one in all this and put him, his agent and any club involved on the back foot.

He should be forced to train on his own for the rest of his contract, if he is late or ever tries to leave early, he is fined two weeks wages.

Working on the assumption that he's played his last game for us & the PFA won't allow us to banish him from training (think they successfully intervened for Tevez), his training should be running a half marathon every day. Whilst it would keep his general fitness level up, it's also likely to make him a fair bit slower than he is now.

Made a complete fool of himself.
Any club thinking of signing him will quite rightly be having second thoughts now.

We should play Ipswich in a behind closed doors game, and ask Douglas to do a number on him.
I hope the club are refunding his kit sponsors .

Unfair. One mistake

truely awful first half but turned it around 2nd half.....got to give him credit for bouncing back in the 2nd half :sorted:

but to be fair if jihadi john had come down from his numerous virgins in heaven to play tonight he would get a better write up than that caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant tarkowski :D

I would slap a transfer fee on his head and NOT BUDGE. In the meantime, until a acceptable offer comes in, I would make him see out his contract with BFC. He might think he is ''Billy Big Bollox'', but I can assure him he is not bigger than BFC. Brentford WILL survive without him. Come too that, I wouldn't select him for the develop or under 21 games either. On reflexion maybe be wise to get advice from the FA, as I don't know the legalities of this action.

.....i'd like to think there will be a condemnation of this players actions from the wider football community......real football supporters, regardless of affiliation, surely cannot condone such behaviour.......the transfer window in its current form is hugely weighted towards the clubs with money.......it will eventually destroy our sport........its time for real football supporters to make a stand....stop this madness before it kills the game of football......the FA(Greg Dyke are you listening) should heed the warning.

Would we want to sign a player that had refused to play for his previous club because he wanted a move? I think his value has diminished considerably.

Tarkowski goes from professional to amateur in one move.

He's let everyone down, and I hope the club make him do training every day by himself, fine him whatever they can, and never ever allow him to pull on a Brentford shirt again.

Although I agree that I would just love it if he had to walk across the pitch again as an unused sub, and face us.

Life has a habit of rebounding on people like this, who have no ethics or morals.

I wonder how Tarkowski would feel if he or a loved one were faced with a critical operation, and just a short while before it, the surgeon turned to him and said "Sorry, but I can't do the operation now, as I might be being offered bigger pay at another hospital, and I have to put that before any consideration of doing the job I've been paid to do here. But then you'll understand me. Being selfish is something you have already done, Mr Tarkowski."

What an absolute disgrace of a so called professional player.

I hope that any club considering him, now thinks is this really the type of player we want to transfer here.

He's been very short sighted and I really hope nobody makes a satisfactory offer so he does rot, not in the reserves, just rot until his ears fall off and he has to drink his own piss out of those jugs.

Yes, he's won basically.

Only if we let him go on his/others terms.

And then that becomes a blueprint for all other clubs who want our players on the cheap. Which is dangerous. We become a doormat. Players get their own way if they refuse to play.

He may have reduced the price but I hope only the upfront price. We can still bolt on a large percentage sell on and add ons. As much as I hate to say it as this moment in time, he is a talent and could play at a higher level.

Your first sentence is a f*****g understatement, he has acted disgracefully and is in breach of contract, the club he wants to join because his agent has negotiated his salary have failed to meet our valuation so he's gone on strike in a nutshell. Shameful behaviour that should see his agent struck off and Tarkowski punished by being forced to train with the youth team and under no circumstances sold until full valuation met, really hope it's not Burnley who get him either.

Agree - but my overall point is that the club must play him at his own game, to avoid this becoming the norm. We have to protect our club, our valuation and our business model...

...if we can't get the valuation now then better to play an angle that tries to protect the value of our asset, keep him away from our first team and treat him like he wants to be treated - a tradeable asset (who thinks he's on his way to the top) and give him the opportunity to develop his game overseas in the meantime!

I'm feeling for Matthew Benham here. In the space of a week he's seen the net value of his investment in the club fall by about £10m.

Firstly because the club is decent enough to show a humane and caring attitude to Jota (previous value possibly £6m, after an 18 month loan, who knows?) and secondly because Tarkowski has acted like a **** (previous value £5m, now we'll probably be forced to offload him for about £1m).

I imagine that overseas teams have heard very little of him. Can't imagine overseas clubs paying.much attention to brentford

He's a young guy and has either been terribly advised or petulant.

Sean Dyche will have been as unimpressed with Tarky''s actions as we all are. JT needs now to talk to senior players and, yes, MW. I think they will tell him to apologise and beg forgiveness. If he doesn't, he may find that no-one above League 2 will employ him. Very sad.

By shipping him off to FCM

I doubt matthew benham would sanction that. The guy is dead to us so why would benham ship him out to his other club. He would just refuse to play for them as well so imo a pointless exercise. Take a strong stance and ostracise him

Considering the pony offer tabled by Burnley.

I hope it falls through and Tarkowski is left to rot, no games for any Brentford team

I have to say that Alan Judge is a true professional and real gent unlike James Tarkowski. Judge deserves everything that football can offer. Good luck Alan. Tarkowski should rot in the youth team and never play professional football again for anyone.

For the sake of £1m or so, say no and let him rot

Same difference..but in theory protects MB's return, and makes Tarky a bit more uncomfortable...and he can't really refuse to play for them too as his reputation would be properly in tatters! It's one thing making an error of judgement once, but refusing to play for another club would start impacting on his perceived desire to make it as a top footballer

Should be kept well away. He is a terrible example to young players and the way a professional footballer should behave whilst under contract to a football club that showed faith in him and got him on the next step on the football ladder

yes; agree he would probably be a bad influence on them. Burnley should ask themselves before spending good money on him, he does that to Brentford he could do probably to Burnley.
