Not the uncertainty of previous games, but I'd take that for the reliability on this excellent run.

Bentley
Konsa JJ Barbet
Moses Sawyers Moko Rico
Watkins Maupay Benrahma

Subs: Daniels, Mads, Dalsgaard, Canos, Forss, Ogbene, DaSilva

If Rico not available then Henrik in and Moses switch sides, with MacEachren in for bench.

Henrik and Sergi both coming into good form, I'd keep them in the team.

I'd not want to risk Henry if there's the slightest doubt; we have a big run of games coming up and we're going to need all the bodies we've got. The only question is the rotation of Watkins, Benrahma and Canós and I'd be inclined to start with Ollie and Saïd, saving Sergi for when they're tiring.

But you can't deny that Moses Odubajo and Ollie Watkins are in excellent form too. There are worse dilemmas to be faced with.

Yeah. For the first time in a while I wouldn't care who played on the wings or at fullback and there's a case for any of them.
Although I'd caveat that with saying I think Benrahma has to start as he's been devastating.

True but Rico could maybe benefit from resting his injury so Moses stays in on the left. We're starting to see the Sergi of three years ago, his goal against Blackburn showed control, pace and desire, and we need to ride that wave.

This. I would have both in my team, I think on form both are better players than HD and SC

A bit harsh on Sergi? He’s only scored in each of the last 3 games! He’s on fire and I would swap with Ollie.
Not harsh, I am selecting the team I think will start. I think where possible TF will rest and move to a squad if he has the talent available. Ollie hasn't been too shabby of late either.

With what TF has been saying he may want to rest certain players for Swansea and the FA cup

Didn't Watkins have his best game for ages last Sat and scored 2 goals? Nice problems to have but Canos on the bench for me, despite his goals against non league Barnet 😎

The problem is the Villa game on Wednesday. Will he rotate Dalsgaard, Moses and Henry? I think Henry won’t play again before Villa.

What about Sawyers and Mokotjo? can they play both games (not forgetting Swansea on Sunday too)

Rotating Canos, Watkins and Said is a given.

Maupay just has to play every game.

It’s a bit crazy and something has to give.

Unless more injuries or suspensions almost a given that Henry and Odubajo will rotate Saturday and Wednesday (or Dalsgaard if he picks up another booking Saturday), whilst Sergi and Olli will rotate similarly.

My team for Saturday:

Bentley

Dalsgaard
Konsa
Jeanvier
Barbet
Odubajo

Sawyers
Mokotjo

Watkins
Maupay
Benrahma

Subs: Daniel, Henry (if fit), Sorensen, McEachran, Da Silva, Canos, Ogbene

Hmm, choices to be made. Do we prioritise the FA Cup or continue to go for all the points on offer in the league? Equally do we have enough depth in the squad to even have a choice! Tough for the coaching staff.

Try to win every game.
Put out our strongest team every time.
If someone needs a rest (or underperforms) then change them.

Moses for Rico, otherwise same as last week.
Ollie's turn to start I reckon so one of Said or Sergi starts on the bench. All are red hot and scoring atm. Who ever is benched will come on at 60 mins to cause havoc and probably score.

And Ollie has scored 4 goals in his last 2 games. And Benrahma has been unstoppable lately. They’re all on fire up top! 🔥

All in good form, all in their preferred positions. Swap Moses for Henry if Rico not completely fit.

Harsh on Canos but he’s a more impactful sub than Watkins and it won’t hurt his confidence to come on and terrorise a tired defence to bag another goal.
