Hope I haven't left anyone obvious out like the last time. If TF thinks Pinnock is good for whole game (or winning) then start with same two centre backs. If he isn't then don't have him on the bench. Start with Reid or maybe Goode. But I would guess we would rather have Ethan and Mads to start. I've no idea whether Reid is ready yet. I would be interested in Bidstrup getting some 1st team experience if he is ready (though this may not be the game for a baptism).

I suspect we might try and see this one out and maybe change up a bit v Coventry. Would be tempted to start Roerslev as he's got great pace going forward and QPR are not speedy at the back but means losing Dalsgaard's experience. Jensen and Fosu will obviously come back in.. Bidstrup has only just played his first B team game for us after nearly a year out. There's no way he'll be on the bench..

Could well see Reid start instead of Pinnock, to give him a breather, and have a more natural right footed Centre Back, if Winston has impressed in training.
Jensen has to start, we really missed him today, as only Marcondes gets close to being a creative midfielder like for like replacement.
Fosu will come back in and Mbeumo used from bench.

Leaving out Reid (form unknown) this is our best starting eleven available at the moment IMO, however we have rode our luck
recently and are giving teams a goal start, and on Saturday we looked jaded, it's a case of does TF rotate with players who at the moment
are not as good as the first eleven but are fresher I don't know, I hope TF does.

First sub to be Zambuerk if not then Forss I don’t want it to be Ghoddos .Zamburek offers a good work rate especially going forward. Player to go off is a toss up between Jensen Dasilva Fosu or Canos depending on who not at their best
Who ever is playing wide left needs to help/back up Rico Henry in managing ( forget the guys name) the QPR winger who’s given him hard times the last couple of games.I think we need Reid to keep a close watch on Austin.A rest for Pinnock would be good in the long run, he’s played a lot of games

Mmmm - I think he would have struggled with the intensity and physicality of the Barnsley midfield just like those who started did.

As for the team, I would go with the one Nick L's suggested above

Bright Osey Samuel? Think he left in January, Austin will be a problem if they C/B's dont track him (as with Saturday's first goal).
Reid, not sure how fit he is only TF will know.

I think Roeslev can come on against tiring QPR. Dalsgaard will be fine for 60 minutes. I think Bidstrup has been signed to achieve similar availability as Janelt, in that he looks like between 1st and B team. I appreciate he hasn't had much time on the pitch, but a bench place may help psychologically after being out for so long. Also, a last 10 minutes to remove any hope of a consolation for Raras, could help Janelt.

Perhaps some time on the pitch for Reid and Roerslev if the time is right. Would also like to see Forss get some time playing in his preferred role, again presuming we are not chasing the game.

Here we go again, why? Dalsgaard was one of our best outlets going forward against Barnsley???
Ohh it's because he's ancient ( 31 :p ) note ** Chelsea are giving 33 year old David Luiz and new contract

For me if Reid is fit enough he should play. We have been giving away a lot of sloppy goals recently including the 2 yesterday so let utilise the squad.

If Reid is fit, he has to start. We need to shuffle the pack at the back here I think. I'd happily see Roerslev in for Dals too.

Fosu and Canos are by far the best in that area we have right now. Jensen is ahead of Ghoddos, so no other changes for me.

We really cannot afford to go behind again in a game, a 1-0 win please. Clean sheet.

Advance JDS driving forwards, Forss playing poacher off Toney. Canos and Henry delivering out wide. More solid with back 5. Jensen picking the passes out. Easy

He made a terrific timely tackle, no doubting that and is a quality defender for us BUT this defense needs to stop leaking goals. He didn't know where his player was for first Barnsley goal and thought he could leave it. Second one he makes a hash of the clearance.

This team needs refreshing at the back and with Roerslev back and Reid on loan we have the opportunity to do so. We've kept 3 clean sheets in the last 17 games (all competitions). I'm well aware these players have had a good season but defensively we aren't up to it at the moment.

Because pop pickers young Henrik has played a lot of games recently and he ain't a youngster. I've got nothing against young Henrik, but I object to flogging an ageing horse.

This is our strongest team at the moment. Reid to start so we don’t have 2 left footers playing cb need more leadership & organisation been conceding silly goals recently

I wonder if we’ll switch to 3/5 at the back at some point during this given that’s how we had more success against them at our place

Only change for me would be Sorenson for Pinnock.I think Pinnock needs a rest more than Sorensen

Have to say I'd be wary of changing our CB pairing for this one. No idea where Reid is fitness wise or with learning our style of play/defensive play but I would think someone like Austin would be well placed to take advantage of any confusion there.. We coped very well defensively with Reading in midweek..

I cant believe so many people are dropping Ethan, he's our besr CB by a country mile and is playing out of position. I would stick with Mads and Ethan but if TF thinks Reed is ready he plays him with Ethan.

Pinnock played on the right at Barnsley, it's not a position that's alien to him. He's certainly our best over the season so far but his recent run of errors can't be just put down to his position, it seems to me to be more mental fatigue.

yep, a lot of the goals we've conceded recently have been through players switching off a little at the worst moment or making the wrong decision, all signs perhaps of a little mental fatigue. We saw it at the end of last season, in fact the performance on Sunday was very similar to the last few performances in the league.

I thought Reid may have been brought in just as insurance, after all he hasn't played much over the last few years and
I thought he may only be used in an emergency i.e injury to EP or MBS, may be he is better than just emergency cover.

Yea he hasn’t played much football due to injury but has an excellent CV with a lot of Prem experience. For me he’s what we need right now as we are looking frail and error prone. He can fill the Pontus void I’m confident of that ..

I agree with starting Reid for this game, provided he’s fit. It means Ethan can play in his natural position and we will have a bit more leadership in the back 4. QPR don’t have much pace and with Reids premier league experience, I’d feel comfortable he’d be able to look after Charlie Austin.

I'm getting worried about this game
Yep, me too.....
Massive game this one. Biggest game of the season so far.
Lose, and the jitters might start to set in. Along with 'bottlers' accusations, and reappearance of the #Frankout idiots.
Win it, and we're all much more comfortable, and 'back on track'. (Even if we then went on to lose at Coventry).
At the risk of upsetting @vcmazz I'd take a point as a decent result............. ;)

I don't see QPR sitting deep at any stage, MW tends to play a high intensity game, up until now while they play a similar style to us they don't have as good of players.

I suspect they'll try a similar style to Barnsley and literally throw the kitchen sink at us and have certainly improved since the transfer window, winning four from five. They're not silly they'll have noticed our recent defensive problems and for the first time in a few years will be super confident of beating us.

As things stand we're guaranteed to concede at least a goal with their intensity and our defence. So it's over to the attacking players as I think we'll need three goals to win this game which isn't beyond us but it does put us under pressure.

With that in mind pre game I think it's time we realised the problems and made a decision on the defence; changing our formation might be more difficult than starting Reid alongside Pinnock.

The rest of the team picks itself with Fosu and Jensen coming back in for Bryan and Ghoddes. Lets hope Reid can add more experience and organisation; if he does we'll win very comfortably.

Are they likely to start with both Austin and Dykes? I would be confident that any combination of EP, MBS and WR could handle them although we would need to cut out any supply from wide positions and the usual cautions about giving away possession and cheap free kicks obviously apply. QPR put in a reasonable performance at LR and have had good results recently but we are a far more accomplished side than them.
