I'm hoping mate, hoping.

Raya
HD, WR, MBS, EP
Jenson, Janelt, Ghoddos
Fosu, BM, Canos

This team is not as bad as some think, BM pace could cause some real issues if we can get the ball behind the back 2. Could be a real turning point for him.

JDS and Toney to come on with 20 left.
Out of interest why MBS CB and Ethan LB?

Based on today's B team lineup, we could see any or all of these in the matchday squad - Bidstrup, Brook, Gilbert, Haygarth, Pressley. Maghoma is likely not fit yet.

This is the team I think TF will pick

Raya

Dalsgaard
Reid
Pinnock
Sorensen

Janelt
Jensen
Ghoddos

Fosu
Canos

Mbuemo

I think moving Sorensen across means you don’t have to knock confidence by dropping him, you have a left footer at left back, there’s an extra height threat from corners, and the long throw is still an option. It also means you can bring in Reid - he mentioned the importance of experienced players after Coventry.

Up front Pressley would work best if the opposition pressed, but I think we have enough to play around Wednesday, so think he’ll put faith in BM. It gives him a chance to breath some life into his game. Canos and Ghoddos are the other options: Ghoddos is needed centrally, and Sergi’s dribbling will be needed in midfield.

Interesting tweet from Bryan "moving forward" . Maybe this indicates his new position tonight in cryptic way?
On a serious note hope it's not a reference to tonight's game as that would be very unprofessional. Who was it last week who leaked some team news and got a right boll**ing ?

They can fit in that formation, sure, but whether they can actually play it the way we generally do is very doubtful indeed! To give another illustration in addition to the Ethan one above - when will Mbuemo ever have played with his back to goal, holding the ball up in the way Ivan does and Ollie did before him? Very probably never.

For these reasons, if we do play a 433 formation, I sure do hope we have worked out a different way of playing it!
Well he is going to have to do it tonight, or maybe be cute and get behind them or off the shoulder. We shouldn't have to upset 9 other players just to try to accommodate one.

....agree...BM really needs to step up tonight....mabye someone should have a word in his shell like as he's walking out...just to remind him....that B and W wont be out there tonight......so its time for the M show tonight.

Let’s hope that Ollie and Said have been in contact with him over the past few days.

I got the line up right for once. 🤯

The rationale paragraph I wrote about Sorensen is most pertinent: height from corners (ok set piece) brought a goal, long throw brought about goal, and Reid was able to come in and shine next to Pinnock.
