I keep getting noise about away fans in the lounges. Can those in the posh seats please share their experiences. Is this an issue for you or not? Please share which Away Lounge you are in please e.g. O&C, Railway, Legends, Orchard, the other one.

I've never noticed any obvious ones in The Railway... occasionally there does appear to be a neutral or two, maybe well-behaved aways, although I've also noticed Brentford staff chatting to some of them sometimes and always assumed they were guests of the club.

I'm in Legend's, ok last night but have had Everton/Chelsea and Villa sitting around me so far this season, I contacted the club and was told away fans are allowed to sit in these lounge's ... wish I had known before signing up,
I told the manager in charge of premium seating, you will get trouble sooner than later.. she offered to let me move seat

I am sure there are a few away fans in there, but I've personally only seen an issue at the Liverpool game when 4 away fans were eventually taken out by stewards after a bit of a 'heated discussion' between them and those around them.
I missed the Chelsea Carabao Cup game which I understand was the worst.
So I know there's been a couple of issues but in general I think its been OK. I had a scan round after United scored their goals last night and didn't see any obvious away fans. Its probable there were a few in there but, if there were, they were doing the done thing in that situation and sitting on their hands.
No I missed that one to be fair and have read on here that there was a problem at that game.
As per my other post above, I accept there are a few issues but in general where we sit its not really an obvious problem.

The Orchard and seats around it were solid United fans last night. It has been getting worse all season and absolutely took the p yesterday. The vast majority behaved and weren’t overly celebrating, but it still has the effect of being sat amongst rows and rows of opposition supporters which is not what was sold.
There were some dickhead Chelsea fans (tautology?) there for the Carabao, but generally fine.
I saw a few of ours at our West Ham & Spurs away games including you.

No problems in the Legends last night. I did notice there was a heavy presence of official Brentford staff lanyards on, far more than normal.

Surely hospitality lounges are available to both home and away fans? I can go onto any premier league clubs website and book hospitality

It’s intrinsic to the nature of having hospitality areas that they enable corporate supporters to bring away fans to our games. So it just comes down to ensuring respectful behaviour by away fans in those areas and perhaps making it so we have a more limited set of lounges which are mixed, letting people switch next season to home only lounges if they prefer but having less freely fungible tickets.

I respect this but the club didn't sell them as hospitality areas. They were sold as home seats with some enhancements to Brentford fans. It is clear the same spaces have also been provided to club sponsors and commercial partners as classic hospitality-type areas too. Had it been clear how they would end up being sold and used there is zero chance I would have bought them. The only way I can see out of this would be to properly split the two groups up and create a de facto neutral/away zone in the south stand.

There's 5 lounges. Only 1 is for sponsors and hospitality.

I can only speak for myself but i looked at both the North and South stands and opted for the North because i wanted to be with only Bees fans as i had a feeling the South stand would be a Mix of corporate/Hospitality and Bees.

Indeed. And it’s intriguing that anyone would think otherwise. This is the club that would move heaven and earth to ban its own supporters for life if there was ever any issues resulting from them selling tickets to away fans in the home ends.

Meanwhile the club are selling to all and sundry with no accountability.

There is one lounge with hospitality. It shouldn’t be happening in the other four. Legends is a glorified Stripes but situated on the second floor.

Fair enough. Not sure of the ins and outs of hospitality at LR. Simple at GP. 60 spaces one lounge. Had some happy times there taking dad and some friends for big games.

This is what pissed of the Chelsea fans at the cup game ( as well as pissing off a few of us with them) they paid £100 and thought that included a meal. There’s no free food in the Legends, free program and half-time drink, that’s it.

There's no free food in the Railway either. The lounge is split into two parts with a table service hospitality, where I was with (drinks included) and a main meal and half time drink and pie. After the match you have coffee (eventually) and some cake. It's not bad but it's expensive. Although the staff are attentive and very good. On the other side of the lounge there is walk up and pay as you go for the pre match food menu and some people queuing for drinks (which you buy at the bar). If you buy a ticket/seat in this part of the ground, you could say just really paying for access to bar and food hall and watch the match in a posh padded seat.
Apparently the hospitality I was fortunate to be invited to through lifeline was worth £250. Chicken burger, crisps, programme, a few beers, a coffee, a team sheet and a good seat. Good luck to those that pay that. Didn’t see any away fans in the Railway lounge.

I haven't had any issues in S203 (Legends lounge area) although it was clear a few supporters around us supported United as they were filming Ronaldo set pieces etc but they didnt celebrate any of the goals or anything.
I wasn't at the Chelsea league cup match so can't comment on that
