I spent a hundred quid in the club shop while I was there, saw 3 games live and had a great time. It would have been nice though to have walked out of the shop like they appreciated my business. The lady that runs it seems to have a no smile, be as curt as possible policy. Think how much more you can sell by having people work there who at least appear like they want to be there:nono:

When I bought my Wembley tickets (about 10.30 on a weekday) - the kid serving looked like he'd just woken up........and manged to use about 3 words in the 10 mins I was there! And my mrs said the same about the t-shirt but I couldn't be arsed for £2 as it goes towards the Bees anyway.

We ordered a load of JPT stuff on line. Got sent a wrong T shirt and was told to swop it in the shop by a bloke whose name we didn't get. Fine, no problem with that. Went in on day of Leyton O game and asked to change T shirt and told the "serving operative" that the correct one should have been put aside for us. It wasn't, and then we got the accusatory "well I've been in the shop all week and you didn't speak to me" by a female member of staff. Told her we'd spoken to a guy the previous week and then grudgingly we got the original T shirt that we'd asked for on line. Couldn't belive the attitude and left feeling really pissed off. I just don't understand why people to choose to work in a shop when they can't be pleasant & welcoming to a customer (who produces a sales receipt which detailed just how much stuff we'd bought). The person we dealt with would do well to spend a day with the (Aussie lady?) in the BFC ticket office and learn how to make a customer feel valued.

Always been good in the shop with no problems ??? if we paid them better, they may be they would be happier ??? lets employ a top retail specialist for £65k a year before bonus to beat the staff into false smiles as that would soo help the team ?? It's not John Lewis ?? ( I managed retail outlets for 10 years ) and yes I did beat them, and sack if ill manered. £65k and I'll change things ??

the superstore may not be perfect, but cast your minds back to going upstairs to ask for someone to unlock that gloomy old portakabin. i don't know what mary queen of shops would have made of that experience! browsing through the beesabilia while being glared at by a tutting "sales executive" (was she called winnie?) who kept looking at her watch was not exactly retail therapy.
sorry to hear that people above have not found the shop to their liking, i've always found it ok.
btw if anyone has any unworn "salming" bees stuff p.m me, i will pay good money for it.

Stop f***ing moaning.
Wasn't aware I was moaning, just passing on feedback from my most recent experience. Businesses that act on constructive feedback tend to get repeat business. A bit like when I buy TITS from your brother. Always a smile and a few pleasant words from a fellow Bee. Not really difficult is it?

Get Anne back in there, I say
the women in question use to work under Anne... she's always been polite to me.. but when I got my tickets from the club shop she saw me but didn't even smile, maybe she was under pressure or tired??

I don't want to be smiled at or be engaged in conversation, just to be served and not overcharged is more than enough for me

Would be good if the Club put a note on the official website when the club shop is closed for essential maintenance.

OFFICE AND SHOP CLOSURES
Posted on: Mon 20 Jun 2011

Bees` fans are advised that the Ticket Office is closed for the next four days and will reopen on Friday 24th June at 10am.

During this period and indeed up to and including Friday 1st July, the Ticket Office will be relocated to within the main Club Offices.

Whilst talking of closures, supporters are advised that The Bees Superstore is also closed at the moment and will re-open on Saturday 2nd July at 10am, the day that both the home and away shirts can be found in-store.

Posted on the 20th June. Reopening on the 24th June and then edited to include today.

Is it that difficult to put a note up to say that it is shut today rather than hide it in a previous article?

The website should have a clear link to the online store on the homepage - you currently have to browse to find the club shop then scroll down to find a link to the online shop, my much better half who is a very ardent shopper and buys many things online got fed up trying to find the online shop...this is not good enough, it should be easy and obvious and very quick to access as this is a source of revenue the club could be losing because its too difficult to find, and todays culture is very much "if its not in front of me then Im not going to look for it - however important".

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but...
was in the shop a day or two ago, getting my new shirts
and while they were being printed, the colours (red into white / black into yellow) run, im guessing under the heat of the press
the cashier said it has been happening, and printed me a new one, couldn't have been more helpful, but he also said its the 25th shirt to have done this
thats alot of lost revenue for the club if they arnt returned to puma?
and i think im right in saying that they only order X amount, so this may cause some people to go without
they are made to have names/numbers/sleeve patches printed on them arnt they?
and it's puma, not some random low budget shirt producer?

£37.99?? it that the norm these days?
Assuming you're talking replica kits, Chelsea and Fulham are £50 (LS) or 45 (SS)

QPR are £12 but:
1. They are trying to offload last year's kits before launching new ones
2. I wouldn't be seen dead in hoops if they offered me £12

I want to buy a new Cap but no picture, how can you buy something without seeing it first?

The store was closed at 10pm on a Sunday night. Madness. (Please note this is not a serious post and is not my actual opinion before people get upset)

3. They are also very hard wearing as are only worn for 1 season and then folded up and put back in the draw:sad:

It seems logical when marked up like that, but I agree with Glasgow bee that the site (as is the case of all official football sites) is a muddle. Even the seemingly most obvious links are difficult to find when not seamlessly incorporated into one bar and relies on a load of drop-downs. My experience of the OS was that I kept finding the opening hours when I was actually looking for the online store itself.

Who is the sour faced older lady that works in there on match days ? I f she were to smile it would crack her face...miserable so and so...gives the club a bad name as all employees (whether paid or not) should at least make you feel as though you want to return. I shudder whenever I see her and then send my son in to get whatever I want !!!:eek::eek:

She's worked in the shop for years even when it was in the old portacabin I believe, I could be wrong though.

In reply to your comments SmiffyBee please feel free - I am a Customer services manager and I know just how important that first contact is with potential clients...for all they know there could be potential investors looking around the shop and what sort of message does it send out when the staff are as unhelpful as SOME of the current crop in the Club shop.A prime example was last season when I went in the to get tickets for the Everton game - David Enstone was busy issuing tickets with about 5 or 6 others waiting but there was not a single member of staff around to cash in on the captive market. As it was around 13.00 hrs I can only assume the rest of them had gone of to lunch...good forward planning..NOT..

Better to feed this back to the club though, rather than a message board.
"Sour faced older lady" was a bit below the belt.
