This is the response I received from club shop regarding my order and points:

"I can confirm the point system has been removed the reasoning for this is due to Brentford’s contract running out, and since then have moved to another supplier.
This company was used with the points system, however since finishing our contract with them, all points access has been removed as we are no longer able to access the loyalty scheme linked with that supplier. We are currently still in talks in regards to what we can do for fans as an alternative to the points, as we understand multiple people had not used all there points, however we have not yet come to a solid conclusion, but will be looking further in to this/ other options for fans.
Once we have a more concrete answer, all information will be emailed or placed on the club’s website, I would advise checking the website for any upcoming news in the future, regarding this, and apologise that we are unable to help more with this query."
That's not a very well worded response.

Aka: we’re going to wait until more people get publicly mad about this, so then we’ll sort it out, in case it looks bad on us.
too much waffle to be a truthful reply.

Trying to get in to my account to see where my shirts are and I just keep getting sent back to the login page. I know the password etc is right as I can get into my ticket account.

Is it just me or is it broken?

There needs to be a physical outlet
Club shops are a pain in the arse to run but after the pandemic ends I would definitely have outlets in Hounslow, Brentford, Ealing and Richmond, which could also double up as mini ticket offices.

Will be fairly easy to pick up space in small retail units on short term leases for comparatively cheap prices post pandemic.

Could be a good opportunity for a number of ‘pop up Brentford’ outlets.

Interesting response from Jon Varney I the Q&A , few things a new ex Arsenal Guy has started in a role which covers the shop etc. there will be outside access in and around the new ground and the existing shop will remain open in the build up to this Christmas. I advise that people listen to Jon’s reply in case I got it a bit wrong

Are there not retail units in the developments around the ground? In most of the new developments I've seen around Brentford and Ealing (Kew Bridge, Dickens Yard etc) they seem to struggle to fill all of these so surely shouldn't be too difficult to use one of these at least temporarily as a club shop outlet?

Probably a cookie issue.

Maybe it would be possible to create a hybrid club coffee shop in the retail around the ground Such an outlet could provide a limited range and collection service on non-match days but with an additional income stream from local foot traffic. It could then switch to full retail on match days with additional stock held and moved from the stadium.

Just a thought and maybe impractical.

Don't see why not? Sounds a good idea to me.

Wondering if anyone can help me. Ordered a shirt back at the beginning of September. Definitely had money taken off me as I can see the relevant transaction in my bank account. Was chasing it up the other day as was told they would be sent out ages ago. Still not received anything. I now cannot find the email confirmation and when I go online the only previous purchases it shows me are IFollow. There are not any transactions from last season at all either. Anyone know where I need to go to see the order and get an update?

What percentage of Brentford fans go to Brentford high street midweek please?
Doesn't have to be there obviously because it's the same area as the stadium - nearly. Ealing or Richmond centres might work or Westfield just to piss off Rangers (the last wasn't serious).

Rubbish. In the town centre with a outlet at the club on match days. Who goes to the stadium midweek?
Dottle.
The club ground is now an attraction in itself and perhaps some money could be made, in future normality, by opening a bar and organising stadium tours.
Who wants to dodge the lorries in miserable Brentford High Street; very bijou.

Chelsea used to have one in Kingston.

I’ve got a similar issue. There’s a note on the website saying they’ve got a backlog of orders to fulfill if they’ve got names and numbers to put on, so I’m assuming it’s probably down to that.

And thankfully closed down. Just need to get rid of the massive Chelsea Football Club sign they've plastered on the main Kingsmeadow stand that now greets me when I open my blinds in the morning.

I worked out how to find the order number. The options on the website are not aligned on my phone so you have to click Messages to see your Order History. There is a backlog but I'm sure they said the away shirts would be shipped late September. No name and number for me. Anyway it says it's still in Progress

I ordered two away shirts on 25 September (one with name / number). Both arrived within a week.

Hmmm, not ideal - I ordered mine back when they were first announced. I'll have to phone them up.

Nope. Just have a shop at the stadium.
They will when Brentford fans are in the vicinity. Otherwise the same argument applied to Brentford High Street that you made earlier on this thread.

Contacted the club about my missing shirt. Sounds like it was just sat there waiting to be despatched. Apparently sent recorded delivery yesterday and should arrive today
