Our pitch would be embarrassing in the prem in the winter. I'd take that though. lol

Agreed, the pitch looks and plays better than it ever has done, but it could still be unplayable in very bad weather.

But I would Imagine that at LR all the latest draining systems, under pitch heating will be used, also with the advancement of grass/pitch technology each year we should get a very good playing surface, that's why Sky pay each premiership club millions, to make sure that money is put into pitch conditions, to ensure no matches are called off despite the weather.

Don't think that the Bees have ever played Arsenal in an competitive game ?

Look back through the decades and you will learn far different.

We played them from 1936 until just after the war - and generally won too!

As we would have been ball 21 for being tie 21 we would have got Arsenal. Sorry for being stupid.

So we've avoided getting stuffed by Arsenal probably on live tv, would have been more gutted if it was an away tie we missed out on, much bigger pay day.

Come on, really? Didn't realise it was a pre-arranged draw.

Are you really trying to save face by now playing the whole oh we didn't know on Saturday card. Of course we didn't! That's not what people are pissed off about and you know it!

No mate, think along the lines of the butterfly effect.

Live TV is £144K minimum, that what Dover got, plus all the add-ons about £400K. Pity we put out a sub-standard team that played exactly as we did at Huddersfield. Lots of great passing and virtually no idea how to score....

Right.... what exactly do you think could have happened between Saturday and today, which wouldn't have happened if Brentford had won and would have indirectly affected the draw tonight?

You reckon if all the results from the last round were reversed, the draw would look EXACTLY the same, just each team replaced by its opponent in the last round? Okay if you say so.

I can only assume that you've failed to remember that only 2 years ago an inferior Bees XI to what we have today came within 11 minutes of defeating the then Champions of Europe. No reason at all why we couldn't have done at least the same vs the Arse. Gutted :mad1:

If the people who drew the ball for a moment discussed our result then it changes the exact pattern of how events happened.

Butterfly effect, one of them at some point may have picked the ball next to one they otherwise would have and it may have changed the course of events. The fact is we don't know and won't know.

At least it means they will be nice and distracted when we face them in two weeks ;)
