The only 'personal' information held is an email address which in isolation is not a personal identifier. Trust that answers the question.

I think if @Indian Bee has a different issue, he needs to take it up separately and directly.

Email is used to communicate with users however.

Ok this is an odd one. When in the main forum index, you can see that the most recent post in Football World is Score Centre 2020/2021. However when I click on Football World, I cannot see the thread. I can access the thread through the main index and i am not ignoring it.

Any thoughts?

I’m still having this problem with other threads.

@mhead bee started a thread about the fans role on Saturday. I can see that on the main index page under ‘Brentford First Team Matches’ here:

But when I click on Brentford First Team matches, it’s gone:

I’m not ignoring @mhead bee or any thread. I’m still having the same issue with Score Centre as per the quoted post.

Thoughts, anyone?

Find the thread.
Post an obscure word or phrase.
Then when you want to find it again, search that word or phrase.

Just a few items not clearly legible in Dark Mode:
  • The Total number bar of how many members and guests are viewing a thread
  • The previous and next thread options at the bottom of each page
  • The number next to the notifications bell
Screen snippets attached...

Had a couple of PM on here last week and although the letter symbol on here showed immediately I received the email on my personal inbox to alert me to a PM at least 24 hours later....just thought you'd like to know ....

I think there has been a recent problem with mail, @Banana might confirm.

Emails have been delayed as we were over quota. So we had to buy some more.

Am I right in saying that if you haven't looked at a thread for a certain period of time, you get directed to the first post in that thread again (rather than the latest) even if you use the latest post option?
If so, what's the time period before the 'reset'?

I always thought that is just for old board posts that are resurrected but I could be mistaken.

It seems that way. Not sure why. Probably for software efficiency reasons.

I've had this too, but no idea on the time yet.

However I do love the 'Jump to new' button when this happens!

Just another to add to this: text with links don't appear in a different colour to the standard text. Screenie of Banana's recent request attached.

Also I realised I was calling it Dark Mode when the correct name is GPG Dark :p

Think I've fixed these.

Sorry, crazy busy week and I've barely had the chance to get on here!

The total viewers and next/previous threads look great. I haven't had a notification since my last post so I can't check that.

Regarding the last point, now ALL text that's clickable is torquoise. Is there no way to just apply it to links in the bodies of posts? The white is much nicer overall :)

You said " text with links don't appear in a different colour to the standard text " They now do. There's no way to distinguish between where the link might be present. The other option is to underline links but that looks ugly.

Sure, I guess I didn't specify "in the body of a post" in my description, just had it in the screenshot.

The notification number hasn't changed though. Still very dark on a very dark background.

Just had a new thread post moved to an existing thread - no problem - thanks - really nice to be alerted to that happening rather than thinking WTF it's been deleted only to find it weeks later somewhere else lol - cheers

Some of you may have noticed that the Ignore feature isn't working. This will be fixed but not before Monday.
Think this is fixed. Please let me know if you think otherwise.

I can still see your posts. ;)

Only joking, thanks for the hard work!
@Les Beeavinu does all the hard work. I just collect and spend the money these days. Oh, and b***ock the hosting company for not being up at the hour of day when I want to feck things up!

The button seems to be back and I can’t see the gambling den anymore so I would say it is fixed, thanks.

Although slightly strangely, I can't see my list of ignored threads.

sometimes I write a reply and decide better of it for any reason and delete it or exit the page

but when I go back to the thread my reply is still in there on occasion.

am I being thick. Is there a delete all button?

I think the only way is to select all, cut, then post something else to clear it.

There is a delete button near the edit button but I think you only have 5 minutes to use them

Go to the floppy disc icon, select delete draft

Imo, this is a useful feature that doesn't seem to work well across devices. A draft is saved every 180 seconds (I just changed it from 60 seconds) and should clear down after 1 hour but I've noticed that if you add a draft on one device, it doesn't get cleared down on another. I'm inclined to turn the Draft feature off completely which is easily done - @Banana - Thoughts?

Yeah, who needs drafts?!
