Ian Holloway’s summary of our match just now on the Quest show is possibly the most positive and praising summary I’ve ever heard form a pundit!
He said he preferred to cocentrate on just how good we were rather than focus on Luton's shortcomings, something some of us might consider doing :D

Disconsolate Hatter to his mate on the tube: "They weren't 7 (seven) goals better than us." Opened my mouth to say something but he was evidently in a parallel universe and wouldn't have heard.
Perhaps he meant that we were 14 !

We may well be.

We won’t be at GP next season
But this is probably what they meant.

Agreed, and from someone who usually doesn't have a good word to say about us. Praise indeed.

Sat next to a Luton and Leeds supporter on the train tonight.

According to the Luton supporter we have somehow put a run of games together!!!!

Had to stop my self laughing out loud when the Leeds supporter said they get bigger crowds than most of the PL though
Fake news. No way did you hear a Leeds fan banging on about their attendances :D

He was wearing our Mind Charity badge too.

But only because it was that or Bristol City.

Watford supporter here just walked up to me and thanked me for giving him at least one thing to smile about this weekend

I've had two similar comments from Watford supporting associates this weekend :)
We also discussed Watford briefly and came to the conclusion there are so many broken things at Vicarage Road that TPTB could put me and him in charge for the rest of the year and the outcome would still the same, relegation

A goal kick from Harrow Borough FC
From the Owls forum.

In fairness most of them seem quite complimentary.

]

You’ve found the sensible ones since I last looked!
- Mind they still seem to think Fletcher & Noohoo will batter their way through our defence. Perhaps they still will, but our ‘Yorkie CB’s’ will make a match of it this time.

That Owls poster then said that we're a good team with a good group of fans as his very next sentence lol We are in good form, but they are at home so not all would be expecting one too tricky. As one of them mentioned 'we did lose to a very average Blackburn team a week ago'.

They seem to think they'll sit seep and set up on the counter, may make it a cagier game if so.

What did he say ?
To be fair I was pleasantly surprised at how complimentary he was Nick. I can't remember it all but he said that we were brilliant, breathtaking and waxing lyrical about our passing and movement

Then in his next interview he agreed that it was a sin that Romaine stayed so long at Brentford. Guys a twit who doesn't know what he's talking about.

Talking of IH, I remember standing in the New Road with Holloway playing on the left wing.

Not having much of a game, there were frequent interjections from a megaphone of a man behind me

"HOLLOWAYYYYYYYY" followed by a salient snippet of verbal abuse

As the game went on, Holloway gradually migrated from being tight on the touchline to inside the centre circle.

Finally subbed, the call rang out

"HOLLOWAYYYYYYYY. **** off and let another **** have a go"

One for the "Your Favourite Memories of GP" thread

"Horrible watching slick play around the penalty area by the opposition. All we do is boot it away to the opposition."

Not really a fan comment but Paul Mortimer who was at the game today for Radio London said "Brentford would be a welcome addition to the Premier League"

It was a ridiculous appointment from the outset and this outcome was so painfully inevitable. Brentford completely dominated and outclassed us; they gave us the lesson we gave Millwall earlier in the season but VERY fortunately without the goals. If it wasn't for Rodak and the woodwork we would have received the hammering I admittedly thought it was going to be. To only concede 1 when they should have deservedly finished with 4 or 5 is perhaps what will save Parker for another week.

Leeds are going to rip us a new butthole unless something incredible happens with our application over the next dew days. There's no energy, pace, aggression; there's no urgency to close down the space or hunt in offensive packs. We surrendered the midfield and left Mitro isolated. Whats the f**king point? Parke is absolutely clueless. We've become a joke and have once again been humbled and humiliated by a superior Brentford side costing about as much as Cairney's Boots.

We gave a lift to a couple of Fulham fans yesterday (I know, I know), on the way home they had nothing but praise for us and were relived that it was only 1 - 0, and even said that it would have been a total injustice if they had got anything out of the game!

Overheard a young Fulham fan say to his dad after the game: “they’re celebrating like they won promotion to the premier league”. Hard to stop myself saying we will be soon.

Albeit just a few comments, I can't read that and dislike Fulham anything like QPR. Imagine QPR supporters speaking in such a manner.
They should have a word with FFC's manager who seemed a bit deluded with his post match comments.

Chris Kamara was at Griffin Park yesterday for Sky and said we were 'Magnificent.' He was equally praising about us on his Sky programme this morning.

Good chap is Kamara. Defended us when that Duane Holmes nonsense started and always talks well of his time here.

Featured quote: 'The Bees are still irrelevant and characteristically tinpot, but they have the bragging rights and I’m sure it’ll look splendid in their brimming trophy cabinet. No matter what happens from here, we’ll still live rent free in their heads and I’d still rather be a “posh toff” than scumbag.'

Oh yeah, they don't care about us at all do they? Don't consider us rivals rofl rofl rofl rofl
