Sorry about this but I like Leeds, got a couple of Leeds mates here in Brightlingsea and they love the Bee's, really want us to go up. Also no matter how you feel about them you can't say there fans have not stuck by them over a very long lean period, every team have there dickheads look at some of ours on FB etc. I'm glad they are back in the PL

Is this aimed at me? I hope so.

I have honestly found Leeds fans to be the most unpleasant bunch of supporters I have ever had the displeasure to come across. They are complete cants. In any case it is good that they now recognise that their true rival is now a bus stop in west london rather than Bayern Munich.
Not particularly aimed at you Banana! Just spare a thought for me. I live near Leeds and am proudly walking around in my Brentford facemask so please don't go winding up the locals!

Fair amount of Brentford bottling it and Leeds 18/19=Brentford 19/20 on social media last night although oddly a lot seemed to be from supporters of a team in South Yorkshire

More and more of my desire for us to do it, is (for our OS Twitter??) to be able to say to Leeds, their fans and the likes of Stuart Dallas something along the lines of:
"Hello again!!! Looking forward to welcoming you to Lionel Road next season!!!!"

From MK Dons forum:
http://www.concreteroundabout.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=20428

"Brentford were dirty as usual, foul after foul and had it have been a league game would've had numerous yellow cards. Have to say they are not a club I like and was disappointed to have a pre season game against them."

"A decent effort against a good Brentford team..."

"....the speed at which the 5 Brentford substitutes played....."
Aren’t MK Dons a pretend and artificial football club, a bit like the artificial pretend cows there!

Yeah Leeds will easily stay up this season, I don't think there's much of a question mark over that one. They are a little obsessed at us not making it though, I mean they do get this is why no one likes them right? They can only have joy in life from other people's failures, which is the signs of a weak mind with little genuine happiness...
It depends who you listen to. I live up here. I have been to Elland Road a couple of times this season and last. Fans I have spoken to in the pub are genuinely intrigued about Brentford (They have 3 ex-Bees on their books - Forshaw, Dallas and their physio Paul Evans). Because they have always had a rough time at GP there is genuine respect. We like everyone else have revelled in their misery over the last 16 years - particularly last year so I have no problem with the minority who are having a dig at us now when we are struggling to get over the line.

Yeah it's hard to say, and obviously you get a different impression speaking to fans in person than you do online. But some fanbases constantly act a certain way on social media that it's easy to start to get a particular impression as time passes. Forest fans haven't covered themselves in glory either in that regard. I have no problem with Forest as a club, but their fans have been a bit obnoxious online this year, especially when level headed people questioned exactly how good they were by looking at performance data etc.

Leeds fan here.

I do like Brentford and have known quite a lot about them (since I've lived in Wimbledon all my life).

Hope you guys go up because I genuinely believe you guys deserve it. Not sure you'd keep your strike force if you stayed in the championship and Benrahma is class.

A voice of reason in a sea of madness....

Good luck next season. You were definitely the best side I saw at GP this season.
(Apart from us of course..... )

From the Swansea forum -
"Yes I know some say it wasnt a red, Ive done a few tackles in my time like that, but todays game is different, theres no control in what your doing at that speed, foot wwas up, but hey ho I suppose a Bees v Cottagers is the better game for sky, !!"

Good to know that they don’t think they are going to win!

Also they are blaming the Sky commentators for getting Rico’s card rescinded!!!!

Well known ex GPGer put on facebook that as long as we don't start with Jenson, Marcondes or Da Silva we would win. Well played ROB, your best yet

Ayew seemed to be rattled by the incident when Marcondes trod on his hand accidentally. He was gone after that

Took a look at a Swans forum just now. They pretty much accept that they were never at the races, but the ref was v.biased in our favour(!) and they really need to vent on Thomas, who they hate.

One example of the latter is "LondonLisa2001" who wrote:
"Hope that Fulham go in to get through, but that Brentford manager is such a complete ****** I wouldn’t mind too much seeing Cardiff beat them if it came to it."

Though I liked the reply by "Mr. Swerve":
"Brenford could have beaten us 10 nil tonight, Thomas Frank could have run around the whole pitch and finished by windmilling his private parts in Tatey's face and I'd still want Cardiff to lose to them!" lol

One of the two is a "proper" fan - you can probably guess which one I mean.

From a Forest forum on the 2nd leg:

Do we want Brentford out of this division then for next season?

They are the best team of the 4 playoffs sides and I'm not afraid to say I'm pretty jealous of the way they play and their front 3.
Bristol city fans - To be fair the whole thread on their forum seems to be a Brentford "Love in"::eek:

This could've been us ...... getting hammered by Brentford
Have to say Brentford play great attractive attacking style of football, there exciting to watched and seem really well coached. I only wish we could play like they do....

"On a side note, Thomas Frank is one of the ****iest managers i've ever seen. Bitches and moans when things go against him and then holds the ball at 90 mins. Strip football away for a second, thats a 40 odd year old man picking a fight with Roberts in his early 20s."

No Geraint. Your lad had a nibble on the bait and looked like a Rodney plonker.

Had a quick glance through one of the Swansea forums, and one poster thinks our side will get broken up, if we don't gain promotion.

They have five loan players, five more out of contract, and their goal threat, on massive wages, probably going to be sold.

They could have real problems next season.

Looking at the fans forum of FC Lorient (promoted to Ligue 1 for this season) on their Pierre-Yves Hamel thread, it's interesting that there was not one "who's Brentford" comment! Some even could comment on the French players we've recruited, our ambitions and a bit about our methods.

Interesting when you see what some fans of Championship clubs think of us 'playing above our station'. It may be that Lorient are a relatively small club out in the sticks in Brittany and not a big club who's fans have delusions of grandeur.

I don't think many clubs at this level consider us playing above our station anymore, it's mainly those who have dropped down and aren't used to us. I think we're one of the better established clubs here nowadays.

I suppose we're now an established Championship club but the Leeds and Forest fans get right up my nose.

I was fine with Forest until this year, but then again they haven't threatened the top 6 until then so maybe just didn't show themselves. Leeds yes, I don't think they'll get relegated but if they ever do I will have a wry smily on my face.

Forest threatened the top 6 up until the last knockings. They were looking forward to sh*thousing us in the play offs. Rather Fulham than that bunch of cocks.

Yeah agreed, Forest were really annoying all season. Taking it very personally when people questioned the actual quality of the team using underlying data etc. People questioned it for a reason...

They could setup to take points off the big teams for sure, but then would lose to Charlton and Luton etc. They weren't good enough overall, just could sh*thouse their way through games where opponents would go at them.

I think there are only 4 clubs that have currently been in the Championship longer than us?
