Yep , looking forward to Moyes face when we score the 4th :sorted:
What’s the etiquette for when Roerslev leaves Said on his arse a third time? Clapping off when he’s inevitably subbed?

We could be relegation rivals???????
It’s quite complimentary really! A Newcastle fan site saying implicitly that they anticipate a relegation battle for themselves and that we as a newly promoted team only “could” be involved in that. Most opposing fans will be seeing us as being very likely to finish below their teams and almost certainly in the relegation spots. Few will be taking this newcastle line!

That attitude can only play in our favour.

Yes, I think we might surprise quite a few if our expected signings come off and the team is organised and on it from the start of the season.

Bit rich for Celtic to be complaining about Ajer wanting to move to the premier league when they've wanted to play there for years
As said in the article Celtic will have to come to terms with the fact they can no longer compete financially with clubs in the Premier league, where once they recently could. It may take their supporters a little longer to understand/come to terms with this. As we have seen at Derby, Nottm F et al this could take some time.

Unfortunately "start of the season" has not been our strong point. Usually takes us 10 games or so to get started.

Traditionally, but something like our first 10 on going up to the Championship (W4 D2 L4) would be OK!

Which one was Derby at home? For me, second half then was when I knew we'd be OK.
That was game 15. We went on to win the next 4 too! If we are on 34 points at midpoint this season we’ll be laughing!

A Leeds ST holder mate of mine thinks we'll go straight back down. I'm being as nice as I can at the moment as he's said I can use his ST for the game at their place if I don't get a ticket....After Dec 4th, the gloves are off

P.S. Whatever happened to the animated boxing emoji?

Tragically, an awful lot of excellent emojis/smileys were executed when the GPG was rejuvenated.
I still get emotional thinking of some of those fine fellows… :looks: :box: :crazy1: :theorange: :crazy2: and I really miss the proper ‘shrug’ and ‘rolleyes’ - the new ones are very poor
Luckily, this chap survived :sneakoff:

Most of my mates are Leeds fans and even the most White Rose tinted spectacles amongst feel that we will be fine.
I think it is those fans that know little about football, especially outside the EPL, that more regularly have us down a nailed on for relegation.

Totally agree. I’m often pessimistic about our chances in a lot of games but even I feel we’ll survive next season. We are one of the best run clubs in the country and those who say they know nothing about us won’t be saying it come May 2022.

Don't disagree but I think a lot depends on Rico and Josh becoming fit and 1 or 2 signings. Think we'd have been OK with Henrik & Emilio but definitely need to replace them.

If anything depends this season on Josh becoming fit we are in trouble. I’m sure there will be signings!

We shouldn’t mock the afflicted. However, little Benji from Notts Co ( I automatically dislike anyone named after their pet), has spent a couple of days with his crayons and come up with a chart....
I'm not sure he's a Notts County idiot.

I heard they worked this out by how hard you clap the opposition...
We've got lots of work to do 😏🤥

Yep.

Time some lunatic also set up a poll on what other team they‘d like to see judged to be bigger than Brentford.

This and other gems, including:
  • Which away team should we give the entire North Stand to?
  • Who will be the first player to score a hat trick against us?
  • When will we be relegated by?

May I be so bold to add:

- Why away fans shouldn’t be thrown out of the home end if discovered*
- Who’s everyone’s ‘second’ Premier League team?

*This is guaranteed to appear after some scrap with Leeds or Everton interlopers in the south stand with, of course, the usual suspects on here sticking up for them and trying to get the Bees fans caught up in it banned for life, with claims that anyone who opposes their views are supporters of football hooliganism. Or something.
