Did anyone notice the Everton fan at the end of the game who breached the segregation bit (don’t know what to call it) in order to shout abuse at Bees fans in the East Stand. Stewards were standing nearby but did absolutely nothing as far as I could see.
How brave of him

I thought they were by far the quietest away fans we've had this season.

I, for one, am shocked that we did not make the away fans the absolute priority when designing the new stadium. I mean who do we think we are?
Yes. Someone should have factored in the movement of the sun on the 28th November every month. To be fair though, she can always sit next to me to watch the game - one of my sons can stand outside the stadium. 😂

they didnt say a word outside , btw that letting the away fans walk towards hordes of bees leaving the south and west stands is gonna end in tears one day

Yeah imagine when we are in the Europa league next season and some of those weirdo black shirted "ultras" turn up, who do weird things like organise rucks in forests and seem to have no problem attacking fans who have no interest in getting involved in football violence.

I stand at the back of the west stand and can rarely hear anything of the away supporters which dumbs down the atmosphere. We need to hear them plus a villain, like Maddison , to get fans going.

I've been surprised by the away followings this season - much less vocal than i expected.
Are they the prawn sandwich brigade from each club who pay for expensive STs and get first dibs on away tickets? I know supporters of EPL clubs who are ST holders but get nowhere near an away ticket, particularly with away allocations like ours. For us, the top 3,000 or so will include most of our "proper supporters" so we are pretty loud on the road.

No wonder this woman works for an obscure company. How dumb.
The sun shines low (when there's no cloud) at all sports stadiums at this
time of year. It even happened in Roman times. Doh.

Plenty on train back to Waterloo, none of whom seemed remotely likely a prawn sandwich muncher. More middle aged to older aged who've been going for years and just very pissed off.

We’re row 18 - I had so many layers on that I had to take my coat off for a while. 😅
At the back of the South, we were dreaming of a bit of that sun to thaw us out. Never been for a pee so many times!

I'm assuming this person who is a political correspondent at Joe.co.uk is a Toffee. This made me howl.

This plonker doesn't realise the design's got nothing to do with away supporters in the East Stand, it's all to do with the comfort of the home supporters at the back of the West Stand.

Namely, there are transparent plastic panels just under the roof which, when the setting sun shines through, creates a pleasing warming effect on an otherwise cold day. Yesterday I even had to unbutton my jacket for fear of overheating as the "greenhouse effect" took hold.

Well done the stadium designers - who needs spicy samosas!

Roman times?

Didn't you read that report in The Neolithic News about a bunch of northerners from the Evertonii Tribe complaining about the sun in their eyes during their annual trip to the Summer Solstice at Stonehenge?

The disrespect on this Everton forum is staggering.. they deserve to sink.
"Brentford is both geographically and in football terms a poor mans Fulham, they will be swapping leagues next year"

Ouch, that one hurts!!

This is what Man Utd fans say about us keeping our kit next season.

Spurs fans don't seem overly worried about playing us or even that interested...

A couple worried about Toney bullying their defence but I'd say consensus is they should win easily after their week off.

Interestingly the Spuds media department think we are a South London club according to their pre-match blurb as some points out in the thread above....

spurs fans are always worried. they struggle to get a shot on goal and have been bailed out by defenders recently. ugly.

I did get a laugh out of this. The good news for Everton is wherever or if they build a new ground the sun won't effect them. They will always play in Liverpool's shadow.

Very good work 👏👏

I hope you replied with that to the original Twitter post 🤞

I'm not sure if anyone's listened to this already so apologies if it's already been posted but talk about obsessed, not to mention the disrespect. I expect the sense of entitlement because they're the champions of Europe of course but really? Will they ever let it go? From about 30mins in.

My mates started The Square Ball as a fanzine in the 90s. I used to sell it outside Elland Road on match days and my cartoon strip 'Footballers in the Bath' rightly has not gone down in the annals of sports journalism history.

Hugely enjoying Leeds fans (with West Ham and Wolves fans chilling in) complaining about us time wasting….. having had to sit through Norwich and Leicester do it…..it’s what teams do in the Prem. I hate it but we are not alone.
Wolves especially.

They came gloriously unstuck yesterday.

What they are really p*ssed off about is that we don't just lie down like the tinpot, relegation fodder they want us to be! 🤣

I stopped listening after the first 1 minute when he started by saying he really hates Brentford :)

Odd one. He is usually reasonably sensible. Made a bit of a fool of himself with this video. I wouldn't be surprised if he posts a more reflective video tomorrow.

Even more delighted Sergi made one, scored the other and then celebrated in front of him! Deluded doesn't begin to explain it!

Plan A, or Plan A better...
Where have I heard that before.

He was right though, lately you could pull our midfield on a string along the same line.
They're banks rather than fluid.

Leeds are surely top of the list when it comes to deluded and self entitled fans. It wont be long before the people who were around to see them at the height of their success aren't alive. And yet they still harp on like they will soon be at those levels again.. after todays display? No chance. Brentford might not be in the Premier League for a long period but neither will they.

Horrible place, really, but it does amuse me that they sing "we're all lovely"... what's that about?
