The implication is that if you've a small fan base, you aren't worthy of a place in the Premier League. Clearly the league should be based on size of fanbase and not in fact on outcomes of football matches. Funny how its always salty fans of struggling old guard clubs that make these sorts of assertions.

Why do some people think Brighton and Brentford have morphed into Brazil all of a sudden. Brentford have lost more games than us this season ffs. I think we can get something from any of the last 3 games.
Valid point we have lost 17 compared to their 16. The fact we have won 4 more than them is immaterial.

I spoke to some Southampton fans in The Griffin after the match, and they were generally unconvinced either way whether their new ownership group was good for them or not. I mentioned about Rasmus and his record/approach but they seemed unsure about their direction.
Leeds are poor, and the reason that us and Brighton appear better than them is because we're better than them. Hopefully we'll show that in two weeks.

Well where I live in Philippines the small band of Euro Ex Pats here have all been following our jorney through me over the past few years and we have a bundle of lads who all have Bees as their 2nd team. A lot followed their own clubs like me back in the day before moving away. Liverpool, Rangers, Celtic, Notts County, Arsenal, West Ham, Kaiserslautern, Feynoord, Royal Antwerp to name a few. Makes me so proud of where we have come and it gives all the smaller clubs hope.

Spurs, Burnley and Southampton weren’t affected by Europe.
Chelsea had won their 5 league games before playing us and had got through their Champions League tie against Lille during that time. After being beaten by us they smashed Southampton 6-0 which was sandwiched between their games against Real Madrid so Europe was hardly a distraction then.
It’s just another sad, deluded Hornet who’s bitter that we’re staying up and they’re not.
