Yer you and MaupayI’ve always liked Leeds fans.
Yer you and MaupayI’ve always liked Leeds fans.
I’ve always liked Leeds fans.
Obviously.This wasn’t entirely serious.
Leeds fans don't know their mothers.Obviously.
I mean, Leeds fans' mums don't even like Leeds fans.
I had to miss todays game against West Ham as I was visiting our sister clubs, who by the way wish us good luck this season. This made me chuckle from a celtic blog comment....
"Champions’ League clubs losing players to the English equivalent of Stenhousemuir…ever get the feeling you’re being cheated? That your overpriced monthly TV subscription to English broadcasters allows English clubs to pick the pockets of the rest of Europe? Oh aye, I forgot, it’s the Best League In The World (c). Denizens across the planet are queuing up to watch Brentford v Watford, Brighton v Burnley and Norwich v Wolverhampton"

They’re going to be even more unhappy if we sign Brennan Johnson as the Sun is suggesting. Those Nottingham lot are very oddly obsessed about us!
First it was an attack on everything "xG" and now, umm, screens
Even more wound up if Phil Giles lets slip in his post-window interview that we looked at him but considered there were better options out there...They’re going to be even more unhappy if we sign Brennan Johnson as the Sun is suggesting.
Can’t figure out why he’d leave a huge club to join little old Brentford![]()
Should have told them they wont do as well this season like they did lastLast night at my local pub in Leeds there was a group of Leeds fans at the next table discussing the forthcoming season. Their conversation turned to who’d get relegated and one suggested us. I resisted chipping in! Then another disagreed and said we play good football and will score far too many to risk relegation. They ended up saying it was a fair point and he was quite right!
I have two good friends who are Forest fans and both are very complimentary about us, wanted us to go up, hope we do well this season and wish their club was run even half as well as ours.Forest fans are I think the most delusional in football. Completely ill-informed, utterly blind to the current and indeed 20 year status of their club. I’d almost rather they went down to L1 than QPR.
That may be true, but a hell of a lot of Forest dislike us with a passion:I have two good friends who are Forest fans and both are very complimentary about us, wanted us to go up, hope we do well this season and wish their club was run even half as well as ours.
To be fair we’ve contributed to their misery for many years and the wins they have had against us were hardly achieved in the traditions of their heyday. That may be true, but a hell of a lot of Forest dislike us with a passion:
"Their approach is miserable."
Perhaps Ivan Toney could pop round to his house to explain.Someone mail this plum to tell him the reasons why we have decided not to continue to take the knee.
(interesting time line wall btw).
Should the club not be communicating to Sky and other media outlets the many things we ARE doing (or have plans to do) in place of taking-the-knee ? Otherwise our action is easily misrepresented to uninformed parties.Perhaps Ivan Toney could pop round to his house to explain.
In short, yes.Should the club not be communicating to Sky and other media outlets the many things we ARE doing (or have plans to do) in place of taking-the-knee ? Otherwise our action is easily misrepresented to uninformed parties.
.... couldn't quite work out if the WH faithful were booing us for not taking the knee or their own lot taking the knee Saturday....hey ho.
The Guardian has us one place higher. So what - these journalistic predictions are notoriously inaccurate.WSC has us to finish 2nd bottom above palace in this issues season preview
Quite an informed but quirky piece that! Not fans as such. Season preview from the Guardian

Premier League 2021-22 preview No 3: Brentford
Punchy, front-foot style will be a welcome addition to the top flight and plenty of the team should take step up in their stridewww.theguardian.com
The comments about horrible lot and toilet bowl stadium are about Spurs, who they're playing this weekend on Sunday in a pre season friendly. This gooner not to keen on club and stadium. Mind you doesn’t sound to keen on arsenal.
Club and stadium not liked
Four Four Two has us 17th though. Interestingly the Guardian piece has a disclaimer that the prediction is from their whole team not the, obviously well informed writer of the piece. As you’d expect, the people who don’t know much about us go the easy way to put us bottom three- smallest club, first time up since 1947 etc- but everyone who knows more about us can see we have a better chance. The Guardian has us one place higher. So what - these journalistic predictions are notoriously inaccurate.
My mistakeThe comments about horrible lot and toilet bowl stadium are about Spurs, who they're playing this weekend on Sunday in a pre season friendly.
I didn't read great to be fair .My mistake![]()
What a boring side forest are, they were sh*te when they stole a 1-0 win at go an utter sh*te club. We should not even worry about them.Yeh, they just hate that miserable way we get promoted, score loads of goals and don't try to grind out cynical 1-0 wins away from home every week.
Hopefully we ruin his weekend next week too. COYBRuining football!
Pray for the "proper scouts"Ruining football!
I don't. So many prem fans are away with the fairies altogether when it comes to disillusion but arsenal are a proper nob end fan base who take it to another level. Special kind. The proper scouts which spot and spend 30 million on players who are toilet .
I find it hard to believe he is being serious![]()
Bless.Bad news, we haven't got the budget to stay in the PL according to (checks notes) a Swansea fan
Who was the Bees fan and what did s/he predict? In yesterday's Observer, they had the usual "fan from each of the Prem League clubs tells us their thoughts on how their team will do in the season ahead" round ups. Each also predicted who would be top four and bottom three and who would be the first manager to be sacked. I was amused to see the Leeds fan had Thomas Frank down as the first manager to be sacked (the only one to say this) but he neglected to follow that up by predicting we would go down. It's really funny how wound up some Leeds fans still seem to be about us.
I read those too. Only the Villa fan had us in the bottom 3 which was a pleasant surprise! To be fair to the Leeds fan, I think he was just having a laugh with the Thomas Frank comment, based on Thomas being a bit of a pantomime villain to Leeds fans.In yesterday's Observer, they had the usual "fan from each of the Prem League clubs tells us their thoughts on how their team will do in the season ahead" round ups.
