Logged in but no need to pay to read this although donating does help keep these sort of events flowing.

Surely now we are top flight the GPG shouldn’t be open to new members, chances of all sorts of shenanigan.
Taking this as the serious comment I believe that it was, surely it is time for the GPG vetting process (which contains good questions about your Brentford supporting history) to be applied strictly? For example should we not be asking new GPG aspirant members how many TAPs they have ?

That’s true, but I think the substance of the question could be rephrased as, do we actually admit all applicants when they seek to join GPG, or do the Brentford-history questions asked in the application get used to do any vetting? Or analysis of the GP population?

We haven't had any issues meaning we have to pullup the drawbridge.

Surely we can be more creative than this. A 'Bees Culture' quiz, similar to the virtually impossible citizenship one?

Like the knowledge all members need to be able recite the song book backwards. 😂
