Absolute madness. All about the 'optics'.So London moves into Tier 3 exactly how long before the 5 day Christmas super spreading event starts?
Why don't we just stay in lockdown and have a quiet Christmas with your immediate bubble and avoid a third national lockdown in Jan/Feb? Throw in a bank holiday in March for family get togethers. It just makesd no sense, rudderless leadership (my last word on it before it gets political).
One day later4100 cases in one day in London
Just announced
Has been around 2000 to 2500
Hancock said its mainly in the 11 to 18 age group
That is very close to mine and my son's ST seatsW235 R21 Seat868 for me!!!
Pretty close to my ST.
(I can also confirm no 'deadline date' for acceptance in the email).
Nope nothing and I’ve had a st for 20 years, I don’t expect to hear anything until we’re out of 3Can I just check that nobody else in tier 3 has received any emails as of yet? 3rd year season ticket for me so definitely eligible based in other people's emails. I haven't been expecting one but to confirm me being able to attend but would have thought something should have come out
You should've had one saying you are in Tier 3, but no actual match invites yet.Can I just check that nobody else in tier 3 has received any emails as of yet? 3rd year season ticket for me so definitely eligible based in other people's emails. You could well be right, but gonna be so hard to police as presumably most visitors to the West End come from areas likely to be in T3. So either reduced economic benefit to the WE if people follow the rules (unlikely) or the WE becomes a Petri dish as it fills up with visitors from T3 boroughs.Reports that London may be split into 3 in order to keep the West End open
In this case looks like Hounslow could be in Tier 2, whilst people with tickets will be in Tier 3...nightmare!
Personally I think they will drawn the line under Brent so the Central London are will be in Tier 2 whilst LBH and the rest of the suburbs will be in Tier 3. Let's see.

The Trust I work at cover the top three in that list. There's an argument for a stricter local lockdown within London given these figures.Week to December 12th is worse (those numbers above are old now...)

gutted for those who not been to new stadium yet.Hancock is updating MPs at 330 today
We may even be in Tier 3 before Saturday according to the Standard
Yep.gutted for those who not been to new stadium yet.
Makes you wonder why London is on the rise all of a sudden.
Kingston wasn't much better at the weekend.Just look at the news pictures from Oxford Street...![]()
Think that will be country wide. Ive just got back from our town centre. People everywhere.Just look at the news pictures from Oxford Street...![]()
Blimey. I’ll give Isleworth a swerve this afternoonThink that will be country wide. Ive just got back from our town centre. People everywhere.
so many self employed people who have to go to work is one of the reasonsMakes you wonder why London is on the rise all of a sudden.
It's cyclical, I guess. We've stayed in tier 2 while much of the north was in 3. It stands to reason that while they were less restrictions here, particularly given the integrated nature of the city, that infections would riseThink that will be country wide. Ive just got back from our town centre. People everywhere.
Total gloomsville; four of the WCB have tickets for this Saturday . . . . . . .Yep.
Looks like all football in London will be shut down until the New Year, at least.![]()
We moved a year ago mate lolBlimey. I’ll give Isleworth a swerve this afternoon
Yep, plus the shoppers who cant or wont shop online i guess.so many self employed people who have to go to work is one of the reasons
plus the increased testing. The r rate is remaining stable countrywide but London and Essex look Tier 3 bound.Yep, plus the shoppers who cant or wont shop online i guess.
Including you........Think that will be country wide. Ive just got back from our town centre. People everywhere.
Knew that was comingIncluding you........
Not saying you didn't have a valid reason for being there, but it does make me laugh the amount of people that have been saying throughout this: "I went to the beach/the shops/the park/insert other on XXday. Couldn't believe how many people were there............"![]()
Likewise, seems that many kids are testing positive and rife in many schools. Loads of teachers off. Missus has plenty of patients and majority are aged between 40 & 50, probably because the older ones are now being better protected than last time. Better treatments are keeping many out of ITU but still requiring a hospital bed. Suspect schools will close a couple of days early.Infections are going to rise a lot . Where i live every school child /student and their families are being invited for tests , Barb already got 2 mates tested positive with no symptons whatsoever.
If it is the kids spreading it why dont they close them now. Its the wind down to xmas.Likewise, seems that many kids are testing positive and rife in many schools. Loads of teachers off. Agree, and oddly most of our local private schools have closed down early with online teaching. They don't seem to get mentioned when there is a furore about schools being closed. If it is the kids spreading it why dont they close them now. Its the wind down to xmas.
Just can’t see them keeping the WE open as it needs all the people from the T3 boroughs to come in and spend their money which kinda defeats the object. If they want to keep the West End open (Westminster, K&C and Camden) then that means LBH is in with a good chance of staying open.
But I suspect that there will be quite a few with tickets in new Tier 3 areas
My kids school on Surrey / Hampshire border closed years 8,9 and 10 last Thursday, they had already cancelled yr 11 mocks in middle. They wanted to close the school completely but head said they were not allowed to by the DfE. Email update on Sunday closed yr 11 due to more infections so only yr7 now...but they have to stay open. Kids still studying at home....seems that many kids are testing positive and rife in many schools. Loads of teachers off.
