Hi!!

As Banana says, wait for a while but you can email tickets@brentfordfc.com with your fan number and make that point.
Hi John, I have done exactly that. I really hope this can be sorted as I want to be there for the first game with fans. I was worried that the postcode checker wasn't going to be used and it is obvious that this is the case for me.

I am still trying to understand the issue. It cannot be that he isn't getting in to a reduced capacity of 2k after having a ST for fewer years than all those who are getting in so it must be soemthing else.
I think he's already conceded that it's a completely bogus point, as he hasn't taken the opportunity to justify it in a 20,000 word essay as per his normal approach.

sorry, what exactly were you expecting them to do differently? I am a bit lost on what the gripe is here
At the time I was hoping they'd honour a commitment they had made to persuade people to buy a ST. But they didn't. (A gripe)

Whereas for the present Covid scheme, they at least seem to be doing it right. (An observation)

I clearly sense your disappointment, but please wait for the club to response to you.

New year for me, but as a new ST holder I wasn't expecting much sooner! Works out well with work also, which is a nice bonus and saves hassle of trying to change shifts.

Looking forward to at least being able to TRY and get a seat. For all those going on Saturday, bloody enjoy it!!
I have been a ST holder for 7 years and have received nothing, starting to sound like the post code cock up I fully expected to happen.

You will be behind all of those with more than 7 years. (which is now 8 years and 9 year STHers). I can't see how you can't see that.

Everyone will get their chance.

I was expecting Derby. However, we got Blackburn.

With people getting emails saying middle of January 2021, then my next game won’t be for some time!! Oh well.......
Doesn't look like we will, I have heard nothing and if we are up to the 20th January I have been missed.

Probably a dim question, but i assume that iFollow will still be available to those of us who were unsuccessful for this weekend? Anybody got a idea on that?

Because as you said yourself, we are now up to the 20th January which is 6 games so everyone should be included by now. I am ahead of at lest 3-4000 other people who only bought ST's for Lionel Road so I have been missed. | can't see how you can't see that.

Same as me then but I have no email saying I didn't get Blackburn but might get reading etc.
I'd say give it time mate, they'll likely be doing them in batches I think, worth checking spam folder or promotions folder if using gmail too? I'd say mail them tomorrow if you hear nothing today?

Then email the club. No use having a gripe on here. As hobbsy said, “some tickets are being held back for anomalies”. There’s bound to be one or two. With over 10,000 names to sift through, there will be issues!

Do you think that i) the club sent-out email in a particular order ii) email deliveries across a distributed system will be delivered in the order that they were sent?

We have Ifollow till the end of the month so if you can't go sat you'll still be able to watch the game from home yeah.

Derby or Reading for me.
Reading will do me nicely.
Looking forward to it.
Is it me or is anyone feeling a little bit happier today?
Hope you get your chance to go.👍 If Reading was mine, I would’ve turned it down, due to work.😩

Thankfully, we got in this time around. 😎But we have a bloody long wait for the next one! 👀😂

I am waiting but have yet to receive any email and my ticketing account also has the 'This offer is restricted. You are not entitled to access this offer. ' so can only assume I have been excluded on an incorrect Tier 3 basis.

I'm in for Saturday. Did try a few times to get a seat further back in the North stand but it kept offering me row 3 or 5, so in the end I accepted a row 5 seat. Might have been able to get one further back it I'd continued trying, but I got fed up in the end! However, very pleased to be at the first match at LR being attended by fans. Looking forward to it. :bounce::bounce:

I can't complain, except maybe that in one of those seasons, they assured me that the purchase would give me priority for when we moved to LR. Which they then reneged on.
Err... you do still have priority - over non ST holders who only purchase on a match by match basis.

Why can you only assume that? Everyone's system says that apart from the approx 2,000 that are going! So that's about 125,000 fan accounts that say the same thing!

As I said above, I can keenly sense the disappointment, but I serious suggest that you give the club time to respond to you rather than jumping to conclusions based on exceptionally flimsy evidence.

Slightly annoyed to have not been offered the first game however would be just as happy with Derby to be honest so hoping for that over Reading.

Any ideas why they've ignored the customer charter though? - 4.10 Ticket Access Points will be used to manage access to tickets where availability is limited.

As if it was TAPs based I am certain I would be in the first round.

I'll be sure to let you know the outcome. IF fans including me have been wrongly excluded by postcode that will be a pretty poor show from whoever was tasked with using addresses to allocate tiers and exclusion lists but as you say I'll wait for an email

Actually really glateful for that ‘Sorry...’ email, stating I’ll likely be picked for either Derby or Reading.

Just good not to be left entirely in limbo worrying if you might’ve been forgotten about somehow, at least this way people can make tentative plans and know roughly how long they should be waiting.

Club saying on twitter that everyone should have received an email, one way or the other now.
Er, no, it says that they have been sent, not received

I don't know any of that, but what I do know 100% stone wall guaranteed is if there is a cock up it will be me.

Yes, same here. Not sure why they didn’t tbh, possibly because it would have meant more work.

Because in this case it may have prioritised people who go to lots of away games but not had a season ticket for very long.

I didn't realise that you could try to get a better seat than that allocated - I'm down very near the front in the south stand, at the edge of the east penalty area. No complaints though - I think I must have only just snuck in to the first match group.

There is a general presumption in the field I work in that if someone sends something, then it's received by the other person but yes, you're correct that they say the emails have been "sent".

One thing I didn't realise until recently was that if you have set your contact preferences to no marketing emails, then you don't get anything at all from the club, so maybe those people who haven't received an email should also check their ticketing account email preferences.

The out of office from the ticket office arrived instantly.

You had a choice of seat? I was just given a seat near the corner of the South stand in the 3rd row? Not complaining though. Really looking forward just to being there for the first time.

I bet that that field is not RFC 5321

Because TAPs were for away games, in principle, not home games. ST holders always had first dibs for home tickets. Then TAPs were used for members, not ST holders, for home tickets.

Longevity in having an ST was correct in this instance.

North stand N23 near front and halfway line . Happy with that. Will be opposite the cameras so better scrub up. I kept reselecting and deleting till one came up that was OK. Then pressed buy. Got a few front row south stand corner seats at first.

I have got my ticket for Saturday.

I can add another long term season ticket holder I know to the list of people who live near Slough - but in tier 2 - that have mysteriously not received an email and cannot access the website.

Indeed. In recent times - before all this - I thought the normal interpretation of the charter was
Home games (ie season tickets first of all) generate home priority
Home and away games generate away priority

So someone with 3 years as a season ticket holder gets priority for a big home cup match whereas someone with say 1 year as a season ticket holder that has been to 50 away games gets priority for a big away game.

Sorry, off topic.

I hope there are a lot of tickets left for "anomalies" as so far nobody I know has been able to add Friends and Family to their basket as their names are greyed out.

These things are always so stressful!

Probably a silly question, but I assume that anyone who's been offered tickets for this weekend just buys a one-off ticket? How much are they going for?

Also, I don't really understand why you can't go with up to five members of your F&F group, bearing in mind that you're outside?

Are they registered in the same household, and obviously Season Ticket holders ? My Wife and Son are greyed out on mine because they are members.

They're “free” or 1/23 of the cost of your ST. (So £17.39 for an adult in west stand)

Next season you’ll be charged for whatever games you get to this season.
