I've had this conversation with a mate on numerous occasions - he stands in Ealing, I sit in B-Block New Road. So often after the game he refers to Ealing Road 'rocking' yet where I'm sat, other than the odd "we'll sing on our own" you don't hear much at all. The away fans often give an ironic cheer when they hear a tune out of Ealing Rd the noise is so poor. He sat with me last night and couldn't believe how dead Ealing Rd seemed from New Road. We're not the noisiest of fans but we're not the quietest either, I just think the acoustics in Ealing are about as bad as it gets.

That’s the crux of it. I am slightly concerned that the final games at GP are wizzing by without any memories really being made, every game should be a savoured but I fear that for most it’s passing them by.

This is what we have to endure if we need to fill GP this season and LR next season. Hopefully the football on the pitch and the atmosphere in the stands will have them talking less about Chelski and rugby and more about the BEES (plenty on here still get names wrong).

It was a bit flat, but I always think away fans outsing home ones. I have to say, sadly, with a few exceptions, we are usually outsung by the Wendy House. I no longer get upset by it.

I was in the paddock first half near the away end and Ealing Rd could hardly be heard. Went to Ealing Rd second half and it was loud. The noise just doesn't travel.
I tried to get a chant going in the paddock but only a couple of people joined in and i was all my mates in the singing bit. Herbert was right, the atmosphere was cack.
