...............maybe you still get your £30 a week for staying on at school in the sixth form, but out there in the big wide world, the Statutory Sick Pay runs at £14.10 a day (after waiting for the first three days without any); and I can just see my Doctor's reaction when I ask him to fill in a prescription for a season ticket at GP to cure my illness...............
