Newcastle please.

A win v Burnley would leave the river rats 6 points adrift with 6 games left (with other teams still having games in hand).

Swansea to win tonight.

We need Swansea to be fired up to win the game against Watford on the last day of the season. We need them to feel they can still make second place in the table.

The chances are, if they don't stand any chance of the automatic promotion spot, that they'll feel entitled to rest several of their best players in preparation for the play-offs.

It goes without saying that we need to win at least five of our six remaining games and that one of the wins must be against Watford.

Our most realistic hopes of second spot rely on us winning every game and making up 9 points on Watford. In that scenario, the only relevant Swansea result is them beating Watford on the last day. That result is most likely if on the last day they have something to play for as it’ll mean they both have the form going into it and the motivation to throw everything at winning. If Watford have obliged by losing to us and Norwich already and dropping points in another game, Swansea are irrelevant. Assuming we win each game.

Luton please

Would mean we only need 1 point (barring goals difference miracles) to guarantee the play offs.

Yes I still remember them coming down to GP in the 70s :nono: But a nail can be hammered in the coffin today :bound:
Newcastle.

Yes I still remember them winning very luckily in that cup tie up at St James's Park, but another nail can be hammered in the coffin tomorrow :bound:
